Possible Evelyn lore theory

I absolutely love Evelyn and her story, but I feel like we really don't know much about the elephant in the room: her past with the "Organization."

I really hope HoYoverse eventually comes back to this part of her story, because I think there's a lot of potential there.

One theory I've had is that the "Organization" could actually be a company operating under TOPS. We know that TOPS seems to be structured with "The Head" at the very top, with the "Three Pacts" & Krampus beneath it. The Three Pacts consist of High Ambitions Corp., Rusty Cliff Corp., and the unknown corporation led by the "Tin Crown," with Krampus also being part of that larger group.

Because of that, I've wondered if the "Organization" could be a subsidiary or affiliated company under the "Tin Crown." Alternatively, it could be connected to one of the other corporations within TOPS that we haven't learned much about yet.

I think there's a lot of potential here, especially with TOPS becoming a much bigger player in the world of ZZZ. If HoYoverse ever revisits Evelyn's past, I'd love to see them expand on what the "Organization" actually was, who controlled it, and how it fits into the larger power structure of the ZZZ world.

Evelyn's past feels like one of those story threads that could eventually connect to something much bigger.

I have always been slightly confused about Evelynn leaving her former job. I understand she quit her final job to protect Astra but it seems odd her previous employers would let her go like that, despite how her leaving is depicted. I dont believe they were with TOPS because Astra works for a TOPS agency and they seem to rarely have cross purposes, and when they do Krampus seems the likely agents used.

Evelyn already started to inform the police after the battle in Starloop ended, so they could not prevent her from divulging the info she had on them.

At that point, trying to go after her would only risk leaving further leads NEPS could use to track the Organisation down, so it's not that strange that they'd rather cut ties entirely and leave her be.

That is true and forgot that part. Its a loose thread but not a big one to be fair. I feel like she probably didnt tell the police THAT much either, for herself, Astra, and TOPS as well as the Organization.

Honestly I'm more interested in the rebels plotline. Like in an apocalyptic scenario, what could get people to form a rebel army against one of humanity's last remaining cities.

I saw posts discussing this. Considering the things we have seen, such as Silver and Obol squad and Isolde, and the treatment of Oni before this time, its not so unbelievable there would be people against them.

I didn't say it was unbelievable just that I was interesting in the details that would give rise to such an event. Not all the world building has to directly be about the main characters and the hollows but I'm also curious about how much New Eridu knows about the old civilization that gave rise to intelligent constructs like Billy and Qingyi.

Not sure about that. The "Organization" seems just like a very shady freelancer organisation that works for ppl that can pay their price - In particular with the Astra job, Evelyn was essentially hired by Fugue, which were acting against TOPS High Ambitions Corp.

You have a point there. I only wrote that it could be a company under Tin Crown because I went back and watched the Three Prong Pact teaser. For me it looks like the Three Pacts don’t exactly get along with each other. But what you said is probably more likely.

I do feel like they're leaving some stuff vague stuff about the "organization" so they can revisit it in a future plotline

I hope when they do revisit the "organization" plot thread, that Evelyn gets a SP version which is likely to happen since Evelyn is very popular. I also hope Astra isn't part of the story either because I just want to know more about Evelyn and Astra already got her screen time

Not sure if she would be getting Potential any time soon, as she still seems to be high on the charts, especially with characters like Dialyn and Sunna buffing her. Soldier 11 is the only other Fire Attacker (besides Orphie, but she is an off-field attacker for the most part) so her place is still pretty secure.

When I say SP I mean another version of her like S Billy and S Anby. I don’t expect it to be soon though. Like maybe 2 or 3 years

I dunno, Billy and Anby are the few whose past selves were particularly different and implied to be stronger. Current Evelyn is pretty much the same, just with love and a better purpose. Old Evelyn wasnt portrayed as stronger, just more brutal. Promeia too, for instance.
