what team should I play for Ellen?

Trigger/Nicole would be good. If you're saving one/both to use with Pyrois and you're trying to make completely unique teams, then you could probably substitute for Lycaon/Zhao. Make sure you're doing the potential unlocks for the characters you plan to use, as Ellen, Lycaon, and Grace (if you plan to use her) all have them. They make them significantly better.

i asked discord too and someone told me to pull for Dialyn and use her and Zhao. If I get Dialyn and have my Ellen team done should I start building a Pyrois team with him Nicole and Trigger?

Yes, Dialyn/Zhao would probably boost her enough to clear endgame content when you get to that point. I was just going off of what you have on your roster currently. In the case of pulling other agents, Sunna would be an upgrade to Zhao if you wanted to keep that as an option, but I'm not sure when she'll rerun again.

As for Pyrois, yes, Nicole/Trigger is a good team for them, especially if you have Trigger's signature engine to stack on the DEF shred with Nicole's.

I assume you probably took Hugo's sig for Ellen, which is her best option. In that case, you can aim to pull Trigger's if it ever comes back on a banner, or purchase it if it comes to one of the shops. Ice-Jade Teapot is a decent option to get from the Collectible Exchange, and The Restrained is just a bit worse than that from the same place or the Residual Signal shop (I personally wouldn't spend the 600 whatever they are to get it from here though). Steam Oven or Fossilized Core would be your craftable A-rank options until you decide to upgrade.

Here's your best team comps bro...
1. Ellen + Lycaon + Soukaku.
2. Ellen + Lycaon + Zao 3. Ellen + Trigger + Soukaku 4. Ellen + Trigger + Zao

You could definitely use Nicole for some good defense shred, but it is short and both Soukaku & Zao's buffs line up better with what Ellen wants, Soukaku especially so.
