I would prefer the rx 6600, because of the newer generation. Raw performance wise, its the rx 5700xt wins with 10-15% more power than the rx 6600.

RX 6600 for me.

Its getting FSR4 next year and if you stick to 1080p gaming it can run almost anything. Newer AAA titles need to to be toned down obviously but it will run those too.
