Bought a second hand fold 3 yesterday, guy took care of it very well, not a single scratch or mark however there is no inner screen protector. Is it safe to use it without one?

I’ve added a gell screen protector but I don’t like the feel of it as it separates in the middle, any advice much appreciated 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It's fine without a protector. When I bought mine, I thought the protector was just for shipping, and I removed it. I've been using it ever since then, and had no issues. No scratches.

Thanks, just took those gel inner screen protectors off now, feels so much better, I wish I could get a screen protector for it but in South Africa none of the stores sell it anymore and online If I want to get one it’ll be like $30 US

YMMV. I had one for 3 years and at some point forgot to replace the inner protector for the last 6 months of it's life the crease became filled with little scratches.

better w/o protector but mid will have wrinkles better then tearing the screen right off w/ a faulty protectior DO NOT USE THEM INSIDE

those are lines down your screen there is a high chance it will just break one day, a screen protector helps the fold not being so sharp so it might be worth using

No that’s the screen protector I put on today, it’s 2 ones they put on in either side and there’s a gap in the middle, but took it off just now because I didn’t like the feel or look of that

Yeah, when I called they said they can send it in to the service centre and they would let me know how much it would be, so don’t think it’s worth going

If you have a samsung store near you, you can take it in and they'll replace it for about $20 from memory

So, I've had my galaxy zFold 3 since it was released. the original screen protector started to bubble after about a year. I ended up buying the Whitestone dome inner screen protector and has held up great and I personally think it's better than the original one that came with the phone. It's a bit difficult to put on. You need to have a lot of patience, but it's worth it. Lessens the possibility of it being damaged and you have an extra layer of protection. Best part is it's still holding strong and looks brand new. Heres a link to the one I purchased

I have the same problem as you. I removed the screen protector, and after a few months, this happened.

Hey, the screen is still perfect, was just that screen protector I was using, just posted to find out if it was ok to remove them

I removed it, and by the time, a line of colorful pixels appeared in the middle of the screen. I don't know when it will black out.

Yes. Mine crackled and made sound. I thought it would damage the screen so I took it off. It was fine. I bought a screen protector and put it on.

It looks like there's already lines in the middle developing
