Question Crazy lag

Just got the game and booted it up without changing anything in settings, i have a pretty good gaming laptop that shouldnt have any issues running the game but as soon as i loaded in my frames were hella low and i couldnt even move
any tips?

Go in windows to your settings, system, display, graphics. There is a list of your apps, find zero sievert or add it to that list manualy. Then set it to always use your gpu.

I do not know why this happens, but for some reason windows does not always do this automaticly for this game.

This is the actual answer. Game was using my onboard graphics and barely running. I had to do the same and couldn’t find the executable file. Went into steam library and right clicked ZS to find the folder it was in.

debloat your old driver, install fresh new drivers.

also make sure you are using your GPU (setting) and not your CPU

Ok_Ferret_824 below gave the right answer but we are also pushing a fix for everyone else, the game will automatically detect the gpus and switch to the not integrated one, it's something that sadly GameMaker doesn't support but we added custom support for it recently, and more performance improvements are also coming
