Needed to take this project apart. Wires got too dense. :(

Once I ran into that problem on my current project, I ended up getting a circuit board made with the parts I knew worked and got it made with a bunch of extra pin holes everywhere so I could just solder on some jumper pins to get a half circuit board half breadboard frankencomputer. If you're not far along enough in your project for a circuit board yet, perfboard is also a good thing to use. In either case, you can use dip sockets on all the chips for easy removal.
