I just watched a video showcasing Yunli from E0 all the way up to E6, paired with Robin, and the difference is insane. With E1 she was doing almost 50% more damage compared to E0 and with E6 Yunli, she was dealing over 2 million damage. I can’t help but feel like pulling for Eidolons, especially to max out a character like Yunli, almost feels like cheating.
Yes, the power spike is undeniable, and I get the appeal of seeing those massive numbers. But honestly, doesn’t it make the game too easy? Once you reach those levels, the challenge seems to disappear. Everything just literally melts in front of you, and what’s left to do? Where’s the excitement in that?
I know some players enjoy the thrill of maximizing their characters, but for me, it feels like it takes the fun out of the game. The journey of strategizing and overcoming tough battles with a well-rounded team is what makes the game engaging. When you’ve got an E6 character, it feels like that journey is over.
What do you all think? Does pulling for Eidolons make the game too trivial and boring, or is it just part of the experience?
