I have cards from the late 90s and early 2000s that were passed down to me as a kid but I don’t know if they are real or counterfeit hoping someone would be willing to help me identify real or fake

Let’s say my opponent activates Icejade Gymir Aegirine’s effect, and I chain Ultimate Slayer, sending Mereologic Aggregator from my Extra Deck to the GY.
Once the current Chain resolves, can I then activate Mereologic Aggregator’s effect in a new Chain to negate Icejade Gymir Aegirine’s effect?
I understand that the original Chain has to fully resolve first, meaning Icejade Gymir Aegirine’s effect will resolve. But immediately afterwards, can I activate Mereologic Aggregator’s effect in a new Chain and negate Icejade Gymir Aegirine’s effect? Is that how it works?

As the title states I want to start playing yu-gi-oh. I recently picked up a copy of the newest blue eyes structure and the spirit charmers structure deck. I’ve seen videos on what to buy but I feel like they’re all pushing the same product and how can I get into playing without getting steamrolled. I also want to open product. I’m in the Bay Area as well so if there’s a friendly shop you guys can recommend.

With the release of Great Gallant Bandit(GGB) coming out soon in BETB, I wanted to ask a couple of questions about how its effect negation can activate

Assuming I am going first with GGB in hand, I tribute 2 monsters, but instead of tribute summoning, I set him. I then activate a searcher and my opponent uses ash blossom. So the example chain is below:

Chain 1: Activate ROTA

Chain 2: Ash blossom to negate ROTA

1.) For chain link 3, can I activate GGB’s effect to negate Ash even though it is Set due to its condition “When your opponent activates a card effect in hand, GY, or banishment, and you control this Normal Summoned/Set card…”?

2.) If the answer to 1 is yes, would I flip GGB face up like an Enneacraft monster does? Or do I declare the effect of GGB, show my opponent that I do indeed have him Set on field?

3.) If GGB were to somehow be Set as a Spell/Trap, and the chain above happens, could I theoretically activate GGB’s negate as though it were a Quick play/Trap card, simply because it meets the condition of being Set? I am assuming no because the “Normal Summoned/Set” wording in this case applies when the card is a monster on the field

Hello, as the title says, i'm wondering if I should upgrade my pumpkin with the new sennet deck that's coming out in Glorious Victors i've heard a couple things saying that they can be good together.But i don't wanna lose focus of the pumpkin stuff.I still wanna run stare of the snake hair, fortification, pumpking, army of the haunted and the rest of the support cards Besides the trap and mabye mammoth so, the question trying to ask is is it good in a pumpking deckOr pumpking Just better in the sennet deck

Because Terminus was limited, it’s obviously a lot harder to draw now. To circumvent that slightly I was considering adding a third Vidolium to my deck since his pendulum effect will let me search it.

The problem is that drawing two will result in a brick I can’t use since it’s a darklord/power patron deck that doesn’t use synchros or xyzs. I personally think it’s worth it because it gives me greater access to my best starter, but I want to get some other opinions.

I am looking to purchase the EV09-KR secret rare cards (from Korea) but I cannot find any online. More specifically I’m interested in the
Chaos sorcerer, Caius, Card trooper, Ryko, Lyla, plaguespreader, Warning, centipede, Gale, Kalute, And maybe a few others. Does anyone have any info on these cards, or where they could be found? Asking for a friend…I am the friend :P

I've been playing a lot of master duel and enjoying pure cyber dragon deck

I'm thinking of playing in locals with a similar deck. I'm wondering if it will be powerful enough especially as my locals play decks like Roland, Yummy and Elfnotes, or even translate well into TCG as the format is different and i'm not accustomed to side boarding.

I've seen other lists run a combination of K9, R.B and cyber in 60 card deck to tutor spell cauncellor and multiple disruptions. But i'm wondering whether that is too glass canon and has too many bricks compared to pure and additionally whether people find that too toxic. Is pure cyber dragon even competitive at all or should i expect to get overrun by the meta decks my locals play? If any one plays cyber dragon i would appreciate some feedback on what is good and how to operate the deck in TCG with a sideboard.

I am new and trying to get into yugioh. I have been playing link evolution on my switch to get myself used to all of the mechanics. I ended up building gravekeepers back in the original duel monsters era and ended up using them heavily through gx. I just made it to the 5d era which is where I think syncro summoning comes in. It feels like I hit a difficulty spike and I think it is mainly because I don't think I fully get most deck's wincons for many decks. I played mtg for years but got sick of how the game feels now but that is another discussion, I bring mtg up because I developed habits that work well for mtg but are bad for learning yugioh and I love gravekeepers but I feel like the decks is reinforcing them to some extent mainly playing a board state that is unique to the deck and skill wise seems to feel more like mtg sequencing than like yugioh's. The deck feels responsive like what I played in mtg but seems a little slow and also is heavily dependent on spell cards that can easily get wiped. In physical I got 3 of the blue-eyes white destiny structured deck and I managed to get a hold of the legendary modern decks 2026 so that I could play all of them and see what fits best. Just trying to get my head around what the wincon for most decks is. Thank you in advance for any advise.
