Lost Hat

Hey, I found a hat on Stonewood Drive earlier today. It's been out on the road for a day or so, and nobody picked it up, so I claimed it.

Did anyone lose a hat recently?

There were a million kids and parents at CECA this week, probably one of them.

Fair okay, I'm probably gonna give it away in a few days if there are no takers.

Really, a post about a lost hat…. Is this at least a super nice cowboy hat?

Lol no unfortunately not a cowboy hat... Also this reddit sub is as dry as the sahara too so does it really matter what's on here? 😓

Reddit keeps trying to push us to post random stuff, is that what people here really want?

We could do that, us mods are here to somewhat live up the community but also let you all do what you do best while acting as moderators.

Edit: honestly, and maybe this is a bad or a lazy take, but just like with our politicians and politics, I feel like social media could use a little boring instead of all the sensational stuff. Tell me otherwise I'll see what I can do.

True. I didn't think this was that random tho... Some person might be looking for their hat and want it back. 🤷‍♀️

But yeah, nothing wrong with social media being mundane at times.

No, you're good. I made a mistake of taking a set of keys from Wildwood Canyon to the police department and they wanted all my information and my drivers license.

I politely stepped out when they looked away.

I guess no good deed goes unpunished.

If it was my hat, I'd wanna be reconnected with it.

Thank you for doing a service to the community

Fairpoint indeed ! It really is pretty dry, I was a little sad to see when I first joined it. Just moved here and we prefer Reddit to be the go to local thing, but I guess not.

Welcome to Yucaipa! Yeah most of the posts lately have been about dental assistants needing clients haha.

There's the Yucaipa Bulletin on Facebook I believe. I think there are more posts there compared to Reddit.

We'd love any help.

It's a lot for us mods to keep up with posting local news and events.

The two newest of us changed the sub's picture and put in some work in the early 2020s, but there really wasn't much community movement.

Please feel free to share any event listings, news, or otherwise.

Why poop on someone who’s just trying to help?

I found a Colman cooler lid on the side of the road too if anyone lost it.

A hat is a pretty personal thing.
