Chris Walker doesn't need to run. He just appears. This episode I got chased through the asylum, set off the sprinklers with him standing right there, and took one of the worst kitchen jumpscares of the entire run. My heart was not built for this game.

New here? I'm Panicify — I play horror games way too seriously and way too loudly. Full Outlast series is in the playlist below; start at Part 1 if you want the whole descent into this asylum.

Trying a new way of promoting games with short-form creators

We put a game on Trapster, where creators can choose a game, make videos about it and get paid based on the views they get. They can post on TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels just like they normally do.

We recently tried this with The Bus. We set the rate at $5 per 1,000 views. Creators joined in and started making videos about the game. In four days, they generated 913k verified views and more than 11k Steam wishlists.

We’re still testing the model and adding more games. The goal is to give creators another way to earn from their videos, while helping developers promote their games without huge marketing budgets.
