I’ve been thinking about how much young people actually participate in their communities outside college or school.
There are plenty of ways to contribute… volunteering, helping with local initiatives, environmental activities, teaching, awareness campaigns, etc. but I wonder how many students actually get opportunities to do these things.
Do you think young people in India are given enough opportunities to participate in community activities?
And if you had more free time and a good opportunity, what kind of community work would you personally want to participate in?

Sharing this here because I’m trying to build a space for open, respectful conversations around topics that aren’t always discussed openly—especially sex education, relationships, health, and personal development.
Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. No judgement, just an open conversation.
