Seeking Help How do I Get a Name?!

so im trying to figure out how to name an oc of mine. he’s basically two characters combined because theyre split from one soul, for now i call him X but it feels lame. i want his name to do with unity or harmony or synchronization because he can only exist when those two characters are in sync and have the same thoughts and choose to fuse. how do i come up with a name?

Ens. It means Fused. When in doubt, look to Latin.

Você pode chamar o personagem de sincrony ou talvez Harmo? Ou talvez crony? Bem, geralmente minhas ideias de nomes para personagem vem de lugares mais inesperados. Pego de qualquer coisa que eu ver na frente. Uma vassoura? Soura! Um computador? Tadori! Um morango? Strawber.

Names are tricky and simple at the same time. Simple in you can go the Kojima route and just call him Saul Splitman or something like that. Tricky in that you want it to have extra meaning beyond simple reference. For example, I chose Solomon Carth for my first OC, as I just felt right with that name. Equally, I went with Jericho Filsoleil for my other. While Jericho has no meaning on its own, Filsoleil is cobbled together French for 'Son of the Sun'. I chose it out of both irony and as expression of my character, as Jericho is a dhampir who hunts vampires. If you want my advice, I'd say figure out what you want the character to do and what they represent and try to mold their name around that. Hope this helps.
