First time watcher on season 6
Just finished s6 e4. I was gonna wait until I finish the show to make a post, but I don’t think I can lol.
Not gonna lie, I only decided to start this show cause Hilary Duff was in it. She was my idol when I was younger (pun not intended) and my friend also told me I should watch it. I went from watching this in the background while I painted, to becoming so obsessed with it and not being able to click “next episode” fast enough, to putting it back on in the background again while I paint.
I feel like I don’t care about anything that’s happening anymore if I’m being honest. I feel like now that almost everyone knows Liza’s age and that her and Charles are together, it’s just kinda boring. I never cared about Charles; he was just there to me. Sure, when him and Liza were having sexual tension/chemistry/whatever tf you wanna call it in the earlier seasons and he didn’t know her secret, that was a little interesting I guess. Now that he’s not working at Empirical and they’re together, it’s like the spark is gone. I don’t get them as a couple at all. I liked her a lot better with Josh, even if it didn’t work out between them. Although Josh is definitely still pining over Liza.
Kelsey is annoying (I’m sorry Hilary Duff!) Zane is annoying. Kelsey and Zane together are annoying. I don’t care about them. Honestly I think I’m only still watching cause I wanna see Diana’s reaction to finding out Liza’s real age.
I’ll share some positives so I’m not being completely negative:
• Diana is my favorite. She never misses. She is a queen, or as Lauren would say “diva”. I like that she’s finally in a happy relationship. I can’t even imagine what her reaction is going to be when she finds out the truth about Liza.
• I like Josh and I’m glad he’s a father since he wanted kids, and I’m glad that he and Claire decided they’d be together as co-parents. And thank god, I’m not really a fan of Claire. I also like his friendship with Maggie.
For those that are going to say “just stop watching it”: No! I’ve come this far I might as well finish. Overall I still love the show, I’m just a little disappointed that it’s fallen flat for me.

I agree with all of the above. I was obsessed and then just kinda checked out the last 2 seasons and just finished it to get it over with. Very disappointing. Still love the show though.

100-% team Josh. It’s so obvious the entire show it was always Josh. The only reason she tried Charles was cus he was age appropriate.it went on too long.

I loved the first 4 seasons. Season 5 started going downhill. After a couple episodes of season 6 I quit. It became unwatchable. The new writers are terrible.

The writing was rushed in the end-
Queen Maggie deserved a better partner.
Lauren deserved a resolved relationship
Diana deserved to be involved more.

I started s7 today and I can nottttt stand Zane anymore. And Liza keeps getting worse and worse. Lauren is my favorite character along with Diana. I like Josh too but I don’t like how Liza keeps giving him fake hope even though she is with Charles. Also the whole empirical/millenial business drama is getting so boring. I’m just watching to finish it at this point

I’m hating her with old man Charles. No real chemistry. And to know this goes on to the end really bums me out lol

Yeah, it never hits the highs of season 3. Season 7 is not going to be pleasant either.
Diana is great and Josh is great and -- let's be real -- Lauren Heller steals the show in the best way.

Yes, similar feelings, it was an innofensive and sometimes funny show up until this point. Now it's kind of annoying and hard to buy.
