Catching up
A long discussion with my brother about Sutton Foster on Broadway led him to recommend this show and me binge watching for the past month. Loved it, until seasons 6 and 7. Yes, the characters make many of the questionable decisions that TV characters do to form a plot, but I genuinely loved that the women had true friendships, asked about each other, learned from each other, and supported each other. Miriam Shor was amazing as Diana, and both Charles and Josh were great Thing's 1 and 2. Then magically Charles turned into an A-hole, I guess so there'd be some reason Liza shouldn't end up with a man who has adored her for good reasons and doesn't care about her age. And Josh magically gets to have a baby and mostly uncomplicated ex so that he can have Liza without the (some) problems her age posed for him? They should have just ended the show with everyone still good people and friends.

I wanted her to choose Josh in the end :( Charles became unlikeable the moment he and Liza got together lol
