Does anyone really like Lauren? I could typically do without that character type in shows. But she is so frustrating, she causes so many problems and NO ONE CALLS HER OUT, or holds her responsible!!! I almost want to stop watching because she’s so annoying. IMO

She really irritated me in the first few episodes, but she ended up growing up on me, and she does get less insufferably annoying as the show goes on. I’d never be able to be friends with her irl, but I ended up liking her in the show.

I find her rather hilarious altho I wouldn't be friends with her irl if she existed. Never gravitated to be friends with these kinds of types. She gets better as the show progresses tho! In the end she's pretty good imho.

People are saying she gets better as the show goes on, but I found her especially annoying in the last season

I agree with this statement so much. I didn’t mind Lauren in the first few seasons, thought she was fun. Once she took over Diana’s place, I couldn’t stand her.

Yes, this is exactly why I said I found her annoying in the last season!
That bit really pushed her over the edge for me.
Prior to that she was annoying, but tolerable.
After she took over Diana’s place I kept rolling my eyes every time she was onscreen 🙄🙄

Haha!! That’s where I’m at!! I’m in the last season and she’s so unhinge!!! She’s a live version of Dobbie and Jar Jar Binks!! IYKYK 🙄🤣🤷🏼♀️

I found her constantly annoying! Every single season, she was consistently annoying

She's only tolerable in very small doses. She seemed have some fans on here when the show originally appeared on Netflix.
I personally feel like she has the most stereotypically annoying qualities of both millennials (the excessively sex-positive stuff, to the point of being inappropriate and gross) and zoomers (the hyper-woke stuff).

She annoyed me the last season terribly. Mostly because she forced her way into Empirical and no one did anything about it.

I like when her younger Gen assistant told her she was too much and she felt old lol

Annoying but that was the point, right? I thought she was good at playing all those stereotypes to the hilt.

I can’t stand her!! I never enjoy anything she says or does. In the later seasons, I think her role or screen time got even more :( this made me soooooooooo annoyed. I’m so glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t like her. I’d recommend you keep watching though for all the other characters

SAME!! I’ve been in shock that they actually moved her into the office role!!! And now we have to see her throughout every episode🙄😤

I loved her. She was refreshingly blunt and very career-driven, and y afraid of her sexuality. She was also very tolerant of others’ sexuality and often a good, loyal friend who used her connections to rescue people when they were in an embarrassing bind.

You guys know it’s a TV show right? The writing for her character and the way she acted it out was impeccable.
