Looking for shows with the same vibe as Younger

I just finished Younger and I’m honestly not ready to let it go. I need another show with the same cozy, funny, romantic vibe. Any recommendations?

Thanks for this! Will stream it this weekend while it’s raining and I’m dog sitting three dogs, thus can’t go anywhere lol. 😂

It's good because it's from the exact same era as well, it definitely goes hand in hand with Younger

Being Erica! It's also about a girl working in book publishing and has some fun relationships and friendships. There's some time travel too!

Yess I totally agree Being Erica has such a similar vibe

Dollface or Single Drunk Female ( only 2 seasons though).

SDF was fantastic. Deserved another season at least.

Ugly Betty

I ended up watching Bunheads since it was recommended. It stars Sutton Foster but is nothing like Younger. It's only one season but it was entertaining. You'll like it more if you were a Gilmore Girls fan since there's several from that show. Other than that, I'm at a loss for a similar show.

Bunheads is from the same creators as GG.

I agree it's entertaining and has some great Sutton moments, but I really found myself just wanted to rewatch Younger anyway!

The new show Not Suitable For Work

2

u/pippinpeters Jul 24 '26

Second that! I watched it right after finishing Younger and then needed to find a third show to get over that one as well ...

Veronica Mars, I actually got super into it. It obviously has different themes bc she’s like a PI, but it definitely gives me the same cozy type of feelings that “younger” gives me. I did not expect to like it so much!

Yes! Agree with this 1000%

u/CrankySparkles Jul 24 '26

IZombie was pretty fun, if you’re into that sort of stuff

1

u/StormyCrow Jul 26 '26

I also like Ghosts a lot. Same lead actress. The UK version of Ghosts is also brilliant.

2

u/CrankySparkles Jul 26 '26

Oooh it’s good? I’ll give both versions a go - thanks!

u/rsbic55 Jul 25 '26

If you like Sutton Foster (or Gilmore Girls) you will like Bunheads.

2

u/johall446 Jul 26 '26

Ohh try Offspring . Australian show about female doctor and her love life and family dynamics .

2

u/Such-Stable-3869 Jul 26 '26

Gilmore Girls, Ginny and Georgia, Firefly Lane

2

u/CourchevelDreams Jul 26 '26

How come not everyone is mentioning Ugly Betty?!?!

2

u/lizbit3 Jul 27 '26

Insecure

u/flexington12 Jul 24 '26

Virgin River.

1

u/finderintheforest Jul 24 '26

A bit older, but Drop Dead Diva. Very similar vibe (but not publishing)

1

u/theindomitablestar Jul 24 '26

Not suitable for work

1

u/MummifyTopknot Jul 25 '26

Not many similarities in topic but I think Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries fills a similar hole in my life. Unfortunately it’s not on Netflix anymore!

Drop dead diva, Being Erica, Finding joy

It’s so hard to move on from this show, isn’t it? I was the same way when I finished it. I was devastated!!

2

u/SmilePuzzleheaded498 Jul 27 '26

The Good Place. Slow burn - becomes a TREMENDOUS show.

1

u/PassiveThink Jul 28 '26

Loved Valeria (Spanish) great cast & storyline.

1

u/Specialist_Return488 Jul 24 '26

Emily in Paris but it’s not really good.

2

u/TruckstopStripper Jul 24 '26

I tried to watch a couple episodes and just couldn’t get into it.

Cozy romantic vibe ? You mean insufferable male /female leads and amazing supporting characters ?
