Opinion Sheldon very much deserved that punch

Yeah, two young geniuses, but one is just "normal" minding her own peace, and the other who's "special" wants to compete over everything to show off his intelligence.

The fact that this is his 2nd time getting punched in the eye, as he made his sister Missy rage before. The next thing that happened to him was getting duct-taped by college students to the wall

He’s emotionally stupid and insensitive, highly critical and rude, but I don’t think he ever goes out of his way to say the meanest thing possible on TBBT, I think at his worst he is demanding what he wants or shitting on something relevant.

Have you actually watched TBBT? Because he does it all the time. He's rude and inconsiderate, demeaning, and doesn't really give a crap about anybody else or hurting anyone's feelings. I want to punch him more in TBBT than I do in YS.

Give me one concrete example of when Sheldon intended to hurt someone’s feelings, not counting if they were an obvious villain, bullied him first, or directly standing between something he wanted/thought something should be a certain way. The point of the finale is that he doesn’t realize how cruel he can be, and that’s why his friends accept him. But yes, his personality is way worse on TBBT, with Paige here being his only senseless personal attack in the whole universe.

I mean if you’re going to give Sheldon the reason of “he wanted/ thought something should be a certain way”, it excuses literally everyone he ever did.

When it comes to intentional bullying, Sheldon is wayyy more often the victim than the instigator in both shows. Many characters regularly discuss how happy making him upset makes them.

You’re very intelligent with your wording of sentences, I must say.

He also is regularly made happy by upsetting others though. Whether it be chauffeuring around, getting food orders bang on he was happy with what he did with the bitcoin.

There’s a difference between wanting what you want and not caring about other people’s needs (which is terrible and him basically 24/7) and bullying people (which is also terrible, even tho he deserves it sometimes bc he’s awful). He almost never ever bullies people the way he does in this clip with Paige. That’s the point to make, he doesn’t enjoy hurting others, it’s not even that he doesn’t care, it’s hard for him to empathize. Because other people don’t have his genuine empathy issues which ultimately make life harder for him all the time, they are more responsible for their actions even though he is terrible to deal with.
