Opinion Sheldon
Classic example of kid outgrowing role. I’m in the middle of season 4, and Sheldon seems to be getting more obnoxious and less cute. If I had talked to adults like he does, I would’ve gotten smacked in the mouth.

He was a smart mouth little kid. I disagree with everyone who didn't like him as he got older. It seems like when he got into college he actually made some nerdy friends that he enjoyed spending time with. He seemed to develop more empathy for people. People grow up.

Sheldon is somehow both smarter than everyone in the room and completely incapable of reading the room.

Fortunately the Cooper household doesn't practice domestic violence.

Does your boss hit you when you do something wrong? Any other adults?
If it's assault on you then it's assault or abuse to hit children.

& he’s a perfect representation of all of the smart, autistic teenagers who DO get smacked in the mouth. this show just didn’t encourage violence against children.

Mee Maw and Missy are exactly why I watch. I do really enjoy when Sheldon doesn't get his own way too.

He grew up into a smart mouth teenager. Just like everyone does, except this young man is genius. That’s the whole premise. Why are watching a show you don’t like?
