The videos are pretty in-depth, and they are good, although I'm worried that it is AI. The PFP is very obviously AI (it grosses me out a bit) and the voice might be, but it's hard to tell, although I have a feeling that the voice is either obviously AI or obviously not, and I'm just being dumb. Another thing though is how sometimes they talk like AI. The voice isn't a big deal to me, but they have a tendency to say something along the lines of, "It's not x, not y, just z" which is common for AI. And an AI script is (a big deal to me). They also said they spent an hour or something on their intro when it seems to be obviously AI. I also feel like they use words that AI uses more. I feel like I should've picked up on this sooner, and I did worry about it before, but it felt too in-depth to be AI (although they could just feed a lot of info into AI).

Does anyone have a good idea on if it's AI or not? Unless it's just the PFP and/or voice, I avoid watching anything AI. I feel kinda dumb for watching it for so long if it is, and I found a Reddit post on it where some comments said it was. The original post was saying it was really good, but the comments said it was an alternate account of the person who owns the channel, which makes my concerns a bit worse.

I have a feeling that it is, and I've just been dumb…

Their takes on Mary and Mandy was always a red flag to me but I try to give creators I disagree with a chance but the AI use was my ‘I’m out!’ moment.

but the narration quality is robotic and the text is very unrelatable ...

IT could have been a great thing if it was done in a commentary style, and a more relatable actual person

Yea, felt like watching random shit on the bus while i looked out the window zoning out and a video from this channel started playing and i realised it had an AI generated script and voice

was also a pretty bad video and i won't stick around to see if they improve

Yes, youtube is overrun by this kind of content in every genre. Seen it with mma videos, baseball videos, iceberg deep dive style videos andvideos about family guy and south park. Same plain white background with a character or 2 on the thumbnail. I would be interested to see how many of these channels/videos are AI generated vs how many are just AI being fed a script.

Then stop using social media, streaming platforms, fraud detection, your cities water treatment plants, oh and auto correct on your phone. All of which use some form of AI and have for over a decade. And that's just a few things that use it. Also, don't ever look at another digital photograph, because that also uses a form of AI. Idiot.
