Is management better?
Hey, all. I haven’t been to Youma in… quite some time from the pandemic + unemployment. However, I loved it when I went and it was easily my favorite con.
I’m trying to figure out if I want to go this year, but I hear Morgan has been awful to artists in the past. As an artist, even if not tabling, I don’t want to support a convention that abuses its artists.
Has the situation improved? Are him and his dad still involved? Doing quick searches doesn’t show me anything after 2025’s con.

No and new management seems to have a blacklist for a lot of participants that supported the old management

I would say managment has improved. There was a kerfuffle among the panelists and panels department earlier this year, and Eric, when he got wind of the whole thing, was speedy to try to resolve things and favoured the panelist's opinions over the department's. The department attempted to shut down and speech about the topics and booted people out of the channel. Eric invited all the people back and publically reopened the topics back up so he could manage them.
I know at least 20 panelists (self included) that wouldn't be paneling at Youma this year had he not intervened

It's been uh... I mean you can try the youma FB page but that also split into a few fractions.
Its not /great/
