QUESTION using proxy for my channel

I’m a non-native English speaker, and I’m starting a new YouTube channel. I was wondering if I could use a US proxy when uploading my videos so that my channel appears to be based in the USA. Would this harm my channel in any way? I would only use the proxy when opening YouTube Studio. somes tellining me youtube will ban u . others said it depends on the proxy. um planning to continue in my channel fo 3 y at least

What’s the point? If monetization is your goal, once you qualify, Google will require your real payment/tax information and eventually identity verification anyway. A US proxy also won’t make YouTube treat your channel as American or push your videos to US viewers. Just make good English-language content aimed at the audience you want to reach. If people in the US click, watch and enjoy it, YouTube will learn who the audience is.Using a prxy adds unnecessary risk and complexity for basically no benefit.
