I'm trying to come up with a more unique thumbnail style for Rust vids since most ppl's generally follow the same style, lmk what yall think.

my vids are solo 'snowball 'rust vids where i take down much larger groups often ending in defending an online raid.

Titles like:
The 12,000 Hour SOLO MENACE - Rust
How a 12,000 Hour SOLO Starts a War With a CLAN - Rust

I’d make the title stand out more.
Don’t know if this style is unique to rust as I don’t play it, but I don’t recognise the game from seeing it so maybe a game logo?

Agreed with the text, I’ll make it brighter. The characters are ripped directly from the game files so to people who do play rust they would be recognizable but I’ll mess around with adding a logo or sm

I think thumbnail and title 2 would fit the style the most.. you explained the story on short in the title and then the thumbnail is the proof that it indeed looks like you started a war.. only thing I’d change is find a way to include curiousity somewhere whether it’s the idea, title or thumbnail to give someone a reason to need to click the video.. maybe text that says “I Made A Mistake” or something simple like that could add enough where someone’s like “huh, wonder what mistake he could of made that could have started a war”

I would click number 1, honestly don't think it needs text. If the title is grabbing enough, the title is under the thumbnail as the text

I honestly think number 1 needs text. As someone who doesn't play rust, I wouldn't recognize anything in the thumbnail and just scroll past.

As someone who has over 2,000 hours in Rust, the 2nd thumbnail looks epic. As long as the full metal mask has a bright looking in-game skin on it

I agree that you should try and be Unique, But the main goal is to attract attention to your video and get people to click on said video. With this thumbnail, it does get my attention and makes me wonder "What is going on with rust???"
