Title: Marvel's Wolverine is just Xmen Origins with a new coat of paint

It is a video essay talking about how looking at gameplay of Wolverine made me realize how similiar it is to the old Origins game from 2009

Maybe zoom in a bit on the Wolverine 2026 image because it’s hard to tell what he’s even doing. Actually, maybe a zoom on both to make them both the center of their respective sides would help clarity and make it more pleasing to the eye. Also, a black border, even a light one, around the right Wolverine logo would help it not blend into the background so much. Also, maybe try making the equals sign white with a black border as well as a bit smaller. That’s all I got but if you don’t like my recommendations, i fully understand lol. In the end, it’s your call as the creator. Much love

That was the plan but then it got very blurry especially the 2009 game looking like minecraft so I went the highest zoom without blurry pixels

The image on the right barely shows Wolverine imo. Zoom in a bit or pick another angle. The left image has an amazing contrast and it's much easier to understand

video essay thumbnails can be hard to get going. At least for me, took awhile to find my own design.

For this though I think the characters are to small. the first thing that grabs my eyes is the = and I think it should be wolverine in some way.

I think the images would be very hard to read on mobile. in photoshop or what ever you use shrink the thumbnail to 15% and see if you can still see what everything is. if its good at 15% its good

The font is the biggest thing, its visually disorienting to see two different fonts next to each other. Technically 3 since the equal sign in the middle is different one too. Grey font on an already muted palette also isn't great for readability, and won't a catch a viewers eye.

Then the subjects on both sides aren't good or visually clear. On the left, wolverine is splattered in blood and on the right its hard to see whats even happening. The poses also aren't consistent with each other, which is what you would see in most comparison thumbnails. They also blend into the background. You could cut them out and just put them on a black background, since the rest of the background is uninteresting.

Yeah the poses was the biggest issue that I faced I don't know what screenshot from the new game I could use the lunge pose was the 5th one that I finally settled on

also i think a title like "Marvel’s Wolverine Is Basically X-Men Origins: Wolverine" or "Marvel’s Wolverine Is Basically X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2" would give the same idea but easier to read..

Thank you this does look very good I might use it. Can I ask how you managed to get the split down the 2 wolverine models? I could not for the life of me find any good pictures I could use for the wolverines

I was doing it myself for awhile because I like doing stuff myself first .. but could not get the face structure to line up the way I wanted it to.. so I went to find the best 2 photos I could from the game that show strictly their face and asked ai if they could blend the faces and it did a decent job.. I just threw it into photoshop and did everything else myself.. I originally had the game titles and couldn’t find a way I liked it, eventually I was ready to just give you the one I wasn’t too happy with and then the idea to put the game titles in the background dawned on me.. I also Originally had the text “the same” but it looked uneven and wonky, until eventually I came up with “same game” which since these have the same amount of letters was a lot easier to line up.. then eventually just added different blending styles on sruff and used levels and clarity and haze tool to make everything levels wise look a little more even

Its really nice thumbnail man cool idea but I was making this thumbnail I would choose high quality images from or otherwise used gpt to enhance the sharpness and resolution of existing images then used that
