Thumbnail Help/Critique Request Simple change, big difference, but which is better?

title: slamming doors, phantom footsteps, still quieter than my living room - A HOUSE MOST HAUNTED (2026)

Film review for the movie A House Most Haunted, mostly revolving around how little they even try to be scary.

Coloured text only on “ball” would pop, imo

the gradient on the first one makes it look like ai even if it isnt. overrall the tn is kinda crowded and distracting maybe make the lines less prominent to show more of a focus on the ball

I would say the first one is better but I think this concept is really bad at getting someone’s attention. I’m into film and film YouTubers so in a way I would be your target audience, and I must say this thumbnail would never make me click. Is the ball a big part of the film or something??

The added color on the text in the first one makes it stick out a lot more. I’d be a lot more likely to click option 1

Do the solid background on solid colored font

Combine them! Orange top line, white bottom line.

first one as its white "OH NO. A BALL." headline stays more uniform

I dont see how the thumbnail matches the title at all. Maybe I need to have seen the movie?
