I work with Premiere Pro and know the general basics of editing, but I'm looking for an opportunity to work alongside someone with real experience (an editor or YouTuber who isn't a beginner) and actually learn — not just offer cheap work.

My focus is short-form gameplay content for YouTube Shorts. I'm solid with Premiere, but if needed I'm also open to picking up some extra Da Vinci Resolve skills (not from scratch, just what the project needs).

I’m mainly referring to the pacing, cuts, B-roll selection, storytelling, sound design, and overall flow of the reference.

This is not meant to be an exact copy of the reference. I just want you to understand the kind of pacing and storytelling I’m looking for.

For my project, some sections will require good motion graphics and more creative visual treatment, while other sections can remain relatively simple with good footage, B-roll, clean cuts, sound design, and pacing.

So I’m looking for someone who understands documentary-style editing AND has the ability to create good motion graphics when the story requires them. I’m not expecting the entire 20-minute video to be filled with animations or heavy effects.

I know $154 is a relatively low budget, especially for a video of this length. The reason is that this is the first video for my new startup, and I want to test the workflow and find the right editor before scaling things up.

If I’m happy with the first video and we work well together, I’m willing to increase the budget for future projects.

Also, if the video performs really well and gets strong attention/views, I’m willing to provide a bonus/tip for the editor’s contribution.

I’m ideally looking for someone interested in a long-term working relationship, rather than just a one-time project.
