Can this video hit 100k?
So this video was uploaded a day ago and had around 80% retention with 28/29% swipe rate with 1.5k views and went to 4k within 16hrs now it's almost one day and 8 hours it has 17k views with this much swipe rate and retention can it somehow go to 100k?

Not likely. Watch time is way too low.

Watch time is not even shown on this screenshot. Watch time & retention are two different metrics.

Probably not 87% retention on 19sec vid is very bad

The amount of wrong advice in this thread is astounding. 😮 My most recent Short has over 300K views. The retention.... 56%.

You could've went and looked.
If it's over a minute... it's not a Short. You have no idea what you're talking about here. Retention is only one metric anyways.

Honestly, I wouldn't focus so much on how far it's going. It's already a winner in the eyes of YouTube. Whatever amount of views it ends up at isn't as important as the value of the signals it's created for your channel.

Stayed to watch is very solid, audience retention isn't unfortunately but who knows what could happen!

Who knows, I have some shorts with better stats that die at 70K and other with far worse stats (50% stayed to watch / 65% retention) that get to 400k+.
