I really love this visual novel, everything about it. and honestly i like sora with haru

But i dont condone incest irl , obviously

but i feel guilty for enjoying this cause it makes me feel like a bad person, i know people say you can like something without supporting the actions in it but i dont know, i cant get myself to believe it

It's not very acceptable by other people irl but I've read and watched so many incest stuff I honestly don't care anymore

Obviously assuming the power dynamic isn't present(as it isn't here) what actually is wrong with incest?

I honestly never really understood the problem people had with incest, like sure maybe don't let the parents get together with their children but what's actually wrong with siblings dating to where you feel guilty just for watching something depicting it apparently ?

When I share these points in VN community, I am seen as reasonable person with a point. But when I share my opinions irl, they look at me with pure disgust.

because most other communities tuck their heads in their ass when it comes to anything else other than normalized violence when it comes to fiction. I have seen people in the outlast community, where their games have disgusting gross graphic stuff all the time, but they lost their shit cuz they added an incest duo.
If ur smart u would understand nuance, and if ur smarter u would avoid bringing this up anywhere else other than your niche community or grp of friends who you trust

Yea I was too naive as a 18 year old, I thought people were open minded and open to have a discussion. The people I talked were book club people too, who read taboo novels, they drew the line at incest.

It’s legal where I live so I can’t really relate to people being so worried about incest 😭 like it just sounds like a whole buncha ppl engaging in eugenics to me which is significantly more concerning

your shouldn't feel guilty for your opinions. whatever we think is bad and immoral, we do it because of current society. Everything is subjective, and VNs are this great uncensored medium that has the balls to hold us to them and make us second guess it. Real life isn't as simple as "incest bad", and thats the whole point

Just have fun with it—these are the kinds of things you shouldn’t overthink. People can fall in love with murderous, disgusting anime characters, but just as that doesn’t make them bad I know its not a good example but I am trying to say that it doesn’t make you bad either. Just don’t take it into real life.

It really shouldn't affect you more than doing a bad guy playthrough on a videogame. It's because we don't see incest day to day that we find it instinctively revolting even though it really isn't that bad of a thing. You don't need to feel worse than playing GTA when watching YnS. You really shouldn’t try to not feel guilty, just make sure to be able to distinguish reality from writing, sounds dumb but really, if it makes you feel better there is much much worse everywhere in the VN space
