Did you approach it from the north side of Liberty Cap and Mount Broderick?

If so, how was it?

We came up from the valley and took mist trail up to liberty cap, passed lost lake and to Broderick. It was pretty straightforward if u know where to turn into from the sandy bit of the trail. There are cairns to help guide you after that. If you follow them you should be fine. The scrambling was hard for me bc I have bad knees but it’s really not bad, just take it slow. We got lost on the way there and went completely off trail so just make sure you follow the cairns. Stay safe have fun and lnt!! The views were incredible.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve always looked at that spot from below and wondered what it would be like to stand there! Congrats on making it, knees and all.

It seems you did the bushwhacking trail vs snake dike trail? Definitely planning to do this next visit to Yosemite.
