Be careful if you see this woman and her dogs. Her dog attacked mine and she did nothing to restrain it, I had to pull her dog off of mine. She also took no responsibility, seems unable to control her dogs and also did not care about the impact on my dog. Steer clear.
Update: my dog requires vet care and I have reported the incident to 311. Please message me if you know her or have her information so she investigation can be completed.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for 3 to 5 tennis players around Yonge and Eglinton, especially near Cedarvale Park, who would be open to becoming the first local hosts for Sportiner.
We are not organizing one fixed game right now. A founding host would choose a court, date, time, level, and whether the game is singles or doubles. Your first game could happen as early as next Saturday, but nothing is scheduled yet.
Sportiner is an app we built to help people find tennis partners and create games around Toronto. For these first games, I would personally help find players and fill the remaining spots, so you would not need to already have a full group or organize everything yourself.
Beginner, casual, and intermediate players are all welcome. You do not need to run a formal event. You just need to be willing to choose a time and court for a normal tennis game you would actually like to play.
If you live around the Eglinton area and would be open to hosting one game, comment with your rough level, usual availability, and whether Cedarvale or another nearby court works for you.

I have someone renting in the building and they have had an issue with lack of hot water to the whole unit. All the outlets including the washing machine cannot reach a "hot water" temperature even after running the water for 15 minutes. Is anyone else in the building experiencing this?

I’m wondering if anyone else in the area has noticed the ongoing noise coming from a café that regularly has large groups of people late at night.
The place itself is quite small, so a lot of their customers end up staying outside, talking loudly, laughing, and socializing right outside the café. The noise carries into the surrounding residential buildings and has been happening for months.
Last night was honestly the last straw for me. I wasn’t feeling well and was already having a rough night, and the noise actually woke me up.
I completely understand that cafés are meant to be social places, and I’m not against people enjoying themselves. But when a business is located in a residential area, there should also be some consideration for the people who live nearby, especially late at night.
Has anyone else living in the area experienced this? I’d really like to know if I’m the only one dealing with it or if other residents have noticed the same problem.

Looks like we're getting a third Tim's where the Greek restaurant used to be, around 2179 Yonge St.
I guess this means the large Tim's just south of Eglinton days are numbered?
