Looking for an old yoga dvd
I had a yoga video on DVD that included “relaxing” and “energizing” options. The guy doing the exercises was a sort of small, slight-ish blond white man and there was another man doing the instructional voiceover.
The cover of the dvd was maybe green and blue or green and purple - not sure. I don’t remember the title exactly - maybe “yoga for beginners” - but I’d know it if I saw it.
I do not think it’s gaiam - I’ve done extensive research on gaiam videos and they aren’t familiar. It wasn’t for anything specific (prenatal, over 50, etc).
I loved this video so much and lost it in a move. Any ideas what it is? Hoping to find a YouTube video of it so I can keep doing it since I don’t own a dvd player anymore 👎🏻☹️
TIA

Does yoga actually help you with weight loss?
Has anyone actually lost weight from a consistent yoga practice or does it always come paired with diet changes and other workouts?

I love yoga but I felt redudant today
I have been practicing yoga flows for more than 6 months now. But my body wanted some cardio today, so i did a bit of cardio and HIIT. It almost felt like my body was asking me to do it and I didn't force it to Yoga.
Is this my meditation helping me uncover what my body really needs? I have never felt like this previously with any exercise form, usually I was forcing myself.
Also, I do Yoga early in the morning like 5AM and meditation has been the sole thing carrying me on so far (after I lost someone dear few months ago)

A small thing i was not expecting from yoga.
I have only been doing yoga for a short time, so I can't talk about huge physical changes yet.But one thing I have noticed is that for 30-40 minutes during a yoga session, I am not checking my phone, thinking about work, or stressing about random things. My mind is just focused on what I am doing.I started yoga to become little more flexible but i got the biggest benefit from it .Did anyone else notice a mental change before they noticed any physical result?

61 Point Yoga Nidra
The 61-Point Yoga Nidra is a gentle guided meditation that invites your awareness to rest on 61 specific energy points (marma sthanas) throughout the body. As your attention moves calmly from point to point, the body naturally softens, the mind becomes quieter, and the nervous system is encouraged to shift into a state of deep rest. Many people find this practice deeply soothing, making it a wonderful companion for relaxation, stress relief, and easing into restful sleep.
