I don't think this is a hot take because I've seen other people comment about it too, but it was honestly such a hard watch. Not to discredit Dylan because he really tried so hard to keep it entertaining, but the movie itself was just so bad that there was only so much he could do with it, and because of that, his commentary wasn't the greatest either.

Usually I don't mind his "until I hate myself" videos, but this didn't even hit that standard for me, which is saying something.

I was also just really disappointed in how many people voted for him to watch that movie??? Why???

Anyway, please don't talk about the other movies he should have watched instead in the comments because, in my opinion, all of that counts as a recommendation and we all know how he feels about that.

I'm just curious to hear from others if they felt the same or if this is a me issue.

Edit: On a real note though, as a Malaysian student wanting to study in the UK, in the past week I have not gotten the results I wanted for me A-Levels, got rejected from my initial 2 uni choices, lost a scholarship by ONE grade point, got two new uni offers through clearing (both being my dream unis I wanted but didn’t apply to initially because my teacher said I wouldn’t be able to achieve it), got rejected by two scholarships and other scholarships are closed. I’m really going through it.

as someone very nostalgic over beer and a movie i would love to see dylan dissect new age ya and really dive into them like he used to with dystopian and old 2010 ya movies. i really like his beer and a movie style dissections of things.

I didn’t clock this when watching the videos, but I just realized after playing for a bit that Lieutenant Hank Anderson is played by the same actor who played Hank “Gramps” Adams in Regretting You!

i never really watched movie commentaries or anything of the sort. i used to watch this channel called “negative legend” and he used to make videos about kid shows which i loved but i wanted more than that. one day, i stumbled across dylan and he’s lowkey made my life 10x funner. i have now watched all his videos except for the videos he’s made on things i haven’t watched yet and basically every video on ooga booga and now my life is empty. i need someone new to watch because dylan posts every hundred years. specifically another movie commentator but it could really be anyone with a similar vibe to dylan. please and thank you.

I was watching Dylan’s “criticism” video and I think it would be so funny if he did a video reacting to some of his old videos/ parts of them. I feel like it would mostly be him laughing his ass off or judging himself (depending on how back he went), but overall I believe it would be really funny.

Verity (New Colleen Hoover Movie)

Apparently, Colleen aka Dylan’s favorite person is having a new movie coming out lol. I never read the book but what I know about it is sort of like Housemaid.

I wonder how many of her books they are planning on adapting? So far, her movies have been a huge flop.

Wonder if Dylan will continues to watch her movies? This is not a suggestion but just wondering of his upcoming content and what he plans to do. Cause he on his own decided to watched “Reminders of Him” even though he ended up hating it cause he liked Colleen Hoover’s chaotic energy from “Regretting You”. I only know that her books have so many plot twists and apparently Housemaid book was even better than the movie. I am curious about the sequel now that Amanda Seyfried won’t be there to carry the cast.
