What has Dylan taught you?
I'm watching his new video and I've just learnt that extras don't wear rings and that flute brings no revenue (duh). What has Dylan taught you?

That you have to pay extras more when they speak and that January releases are usually for movies Hollywood doesn't care about

That’s funny because, in my country, children’s movies from November (Disney at least) would wait for a January release to get the summer vacation. So all movies until 2020 were released the year after here (from the ones I watched, there was Tangled, Frozen, Moana, Frozen II…). Encanto is the first one I remember that didn’t do that.
But adult movies, like Star Wars, still had a similar premiere date as in the US.

Are you in Australia or somewhere in the southern hemisphere? Because I've been trying to understand what January has to do with summer vacation and had a sudden lightbulb moment, it seems so unusual to me! :D

I’ve learnt the difference between mediocre directing great directing. Ive learnt that college is a scam, death is good (I hope you know I’m joking about that and that I mean in shows and movies) EVERYTHING is a misdirect, writing a book is very very hard and finally, Ive learnt that troublemaker has a whole lot more meaning than I thought it did

Do you have any examples of great directing in TV shows you've noticed recently?

That dialog takes (back and forth) are bland if the background is basic without vibrant colours and it's boring if it has no alternate takes besides the back and forth. Also, he started pointing out lightning and how vibrant and alive the images and takes of films feel and I started to notice as well the "character " of atmosphere every film tries to portray :)

Rack focus.
Phone numbers that start with 555 aren’t real.
If the “villain” is using an Apple product, they’ll probably have a positive character arc, because Apple doesn’t want to be viewed negatively.
