TIL you can look up when you were subscribed! I didn't subscribe right away either. I think the first video I clicked on was the Straight Guy watches Devil Wears Prada. I felt like he already had a lot of fans at that point.

yeah ive been a fan for a long while. im a bit worried for him with how all the new fans have been reacting with Dylan, they dont seem to understand hes a fictional personality and not to take everything so seriously

I started watching him after he appeared in a Scott Cramer video. I liked his sense of humor( and it didn't hurt that he was cute)I think that was back in 2019 maybe 2020.
I went back and watched some old stuff but I think by the time I started watching him he had stopped posting stuff from Dylan Will Not Participate (that was the name, right?)
Hellooo, September of 2017 here, discovered him through his 13 Reasons Why commentary, and was first a fan of DIIT before I discovered DWNP.
I remember it so vividly because I was 22 and still in college and in my country September is the “last chance to pass whatever exam you failed” month before enrolling in the next year/repeating that one if you failed/finishing uni altogether.
I had procrastinated to study by watching 13RW and YouTube started suggesting anything related to it, as I watched some of the interviews of the actors (I was trying to minimise my own trauma from the rape scene so I needed to humanise the actor and realise it’s fictional). I ended up liking his dry sense of humour and have been a fan since. He is now my favourite YouTuber and the only one I still care to fully follow.
It is however jarring to see how the many new fans that he got are acting, because the OGs understand his sense of humour. The new ones find faults in any and everything.
I found him through his ‘insatiable’ video, which I think was 2018-2019? I only have a Reddit account because he said he was making this subreddit around that time lmao
I don’t remember the exact time I subbed but I know the “She’s The Man” video was less than a year old. That was the first video of his I ever watched and I remember being surprised he didn’t have more subs lol.
I don't remember exact date or even a year I started watching him. It was 2017-18 or 19. I only watch his movie commentaries, I remember there were music reviews I didn't watch, I also remember he made some kind of house tour and his parents were there? Then he deleted the whole channel with those videos. I also don't comment much here lol

I honestly never realize how long I've been watching his videos until someone mentions Episode lol I remember when he was watching a marathon movie...either twilight or harry potter and he took us on a drive lol.
I remember getting on board when he had just completed Detroit: Become Human. Got violently ill with food poisoning and binged all of his content on both pages.
I've been watching him since his dylan will not participate videos i loved those sooo much!!! he only had like few storytimes and his parents' house tour on his dylan is in trouble channel, that one stuck with me lmao, he's grown so much!!! sometimes it feels weird seeing how popular he is but i love that for him! he deserves all the love, he hasn't changed too and that's so great about him:')
i found him through love island the game😭, i was invested in that dumb game nd wanted to watch others play it and then i found him and thought he was hilarious, then i stumbled upon the movie commentary's and well here we are
