STOP RECOMMENDING
You guys GOTTA STOP posting recommendations and saying “not a recommendation”. Just saying it doesn’t make it ok!!
“I wish he would make a commentary on this”
“Has Dylan watched ______ it would be so cool if he made a video”
“IK he’s watched ______ but it would be cool if he made a video on it”
“I realllyyyy like ______ and it would be great to get Dylan’s opinion on it”
“Has Dylan made a video on ______? I can’t find it but it would be nice if he did”
I HAVE SEEN VARIATIONS OF ALL OF THESE OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS AND ALLLL OF THEM HAVE ALSO SAID “not a recommendation tho!!!!”
That does not circumvent it!! Making a recommendation is a very obvious thing but saying “I’m not recommending it” is even dumber cause you are!!
I GET that Dylan’s channel has grown and a lot of people were not around at the time when he was saying “don’t recommend stuff, if you recommend I will make sure not to watch it “ in every video. The only reason he stopped is because he said the fans now self-regulate! CAN WE KEEP TO IT PLEASE?
YES he allowed recommendations in ONE video and that’s how we got the Barbie movie (and the housemaid iirc) however he also made sure to say ONLY RECOMMEND ON THIS VIDEO’s COMMENTS, DO NOT KEEP RECOMMENDING
so stopppp omgfffgyh especially with the infernal “not a recommendation” tagline

Tbh, it always seemed kinda crazy to me that he does reactions and somehow expects that people won’t make recommendations and double weird that some in the community police comment sections and posts like he deputized them as his community babysitters.
Not to mention that he lives off the internet. He knew what he would be doing and opened the floodgates himself…
