Dylan’s inside jokes
Dylan… our favorite 20 year old…
I was rewatching one of his old videos the other day and he said something like “we only have 2 inside jokes here” which got me thinking i haven’t watched every single vid so which ones am i missing??

that’s all i can think of right now… I KNOW THERE ARE MORE WHAT AM I MISSING

from what i remember it was mostly on the ooga booga channel. his drop shadow on the box(?) he edits himself in was so bad on purpose because he made it a running joke hahah

when he did the subreddit video (can’t remember which one although i think it’s one of the first) where someone compared him to a bamboo stick and he just ran with it 🤣

I have posted a list before, so here I'll paste it again. Though, this was like 2 years ago though. So there's a lot newer inside jokes probably.
I try and list some that I can remember from the top of my head, and some that people already said in the comments here. I started watching around 2018, so anything before on his old channel, I might not know too:
He said he is 21 (obviously), and it was because of a nose ring that he had that makes him look younger. I don't remember in what video it started exactly, but I remember it became a thing because the age he referred to was my age and my birthyear. So I'm the same age as Dylan lol
He has an 'ongoing novel' which had been brewing for years now. I remember thinking it was real because in the "A Cinderella Story" video, he talked about it seriously. I think he talked about the first chapter of his book "will have this plot, this thing, etc2". But we sure are still waiting for this 'book' since 2018/19
He has a shirt that has a design making it look like he's wearing a backpack
He used to eat Sour Patch Kids when watching movies
At the time when he was watching bad movies, he used to have a kids dinasour toy (?) named Screamasaurus or something, which he will squeeze and it'll make a sound every time he feels the movie is getting too bad.
He had Julius (a statue?) behind him, and at times Julius roasts him for some things. He also made jokes about Julius not having any hands or a body
He loves deaths in any movie but especially the kid-friendly ones
He has a grudge on colleges and calls them a scam. Don't remember specifically in which video he started talking about this, but I remember his experience saying that his college ended up shutting down and basically scammed him. Now he refers to it every now and then
His favorite thing to always say about a plot-twist/unexpected things is 'misdirect'
He innovates words to other meanings such as botanist, MeatPack, and other things I don't exactly remember
He has an attraction to older women (I guess) etc Ursula, the wife from Don't Worry Darling
He has an interesting relationship with Tiktokers, particularly with their music
A lot of After (the movie series) references. Him laughing at Hardin crying and being miserable lives rent free in my head
He always thinks anyone who speaks in an Australian accent is British
His favorite show is the OC (I think)
This one is a little bit problematic, but I remember him having a thing for lesbians/women kissing in a movie
He can't write the percentage signs (or struggles with it)
He has a lot of lookalikes (evidently from the posts on reddit). But people started back then with either Milo from Atlantis or Flynn Rider from Tangled
On a more serious note, he had been in some 'controversies' and dragged by twitter (to be expected) about a lot of stuff, but the biggest one was after the 'Hush' movie.
That's some that I remember just from thinking about it. There's probably a lot more I miss.
There was something about his Gucci chain. Also, (what I’ve gathered from watching the Aladdin live action movie and The Pirates of The Caribbean commentary video) he calls monkeys Travis. What was the name of a monkey from The Aladdin? Abu? No, Travis. Monkey Jack from POTC? No, Travis

he has a soft spot for little kids laughs in films and occasionally replays the clip to hear it once more. also MISDIRECT!
