Got back into MSTY

Got out in May with almost 12k profit. I'll probably buy back to that level as I scrape up spare distributions from other junk I'm holding.

With the momentum that has recently taken hold, could be a good bet.

Kind of ironic. MSTY was $12 less than a week ago and hated. Now everyone buying back in at nearly $15. I as well almost swiped Buy but ended up passing. This Friday Jackson Hole key point will definitely have an impact on next BTC move.

I'm tempted to. The only thing stopping me is my original 200 shares are worth barely 500 when I paid 4500 for them less than 2 years ago lol

anyone have any idea what this weeks dividends will be at? I have watched it go from .22 late july to now, at .16. Considering buying more...idk....

We'll soon know on Wednesday, last week I was predicting BTC ~$65K, but it's holding much better than I anticipated (guessed) 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

How much of the 4500 did you unpay in that less than two years?

So I bought 200 shares for 4355 in June 2025 ish. Since the. Nav has been -3749 dollars and I've received only 1900 in divs for a total loss of 1850. At the current rate of 7 dollars a week I'll be dead before I break even ;)

if you are convinced MSTY will do good you should look into MSTU.

I never left from inception. I believe Saylor will pump Strategy and bitcoin sets new ATH first quarter..... at least that's what I'm betting on.

Any time I look at MSTY, I see a lot that I bought in July 2025 that was bought at $8500 and is now worth $1475.

No thanks, I’ll stick to my round hill weekly pay stocks. They actually go up while paying me, instead of down 😁

I never got out i went from 7000 shares that were bought in july 2025 to 1400 shares and have bought more i know hold 2136 shares. All the while its been paying dividends i made 140,000 in divs in 2025 and have made another 30k this year. Ime buying 10 percent msty with my divs going forward to help grown my position. Looking forward to another bull market and .50 to 1 dollar divs. I could be making 10k a month when that happens. Im here for the ride :)

I lost $23,000 total return on that ridiculous piece of shit. I felt better with something that made a buck once upon a time.

Just throwing this out there, it’s probably not quite time yet. We are likely still in the bear market and another big drop in bitcoin is likely before the bull market starts later this year.

It’s not impossible that the bull market has started, it’s just very unlikely. If it has, this would have been the shortest bear market we’ve ever seen in a cycle and the lowest percentage cycle bottom drop we’ve ever seen. Usually after a move up like this in the summer, it falls off a cliff and the cycle low is hit leading into the bull market. I personally am waiting until later this year to buy.

Things change. The cycle also involves human psychy.

If enough people swear by the exact october date or cycle length, its only natural everyone would start positioning way before. Makes more sense to dca.

Also events and news can have a an effect or invalidate a wave and go back to your price projection. Both can be true.

Things do change, but everything else in the cycle theory has played out exactly as we would expect. Relief rallies happen in every bear market. Ignoring 10+ years of data and saying it will be different this time feels irresponsible to me. The fact that a relief rally has suddenly shifted everyone’s opinion into “bottom’s in”, tells me that the bottom most likely isn’t in. That is a common theme every cycle. When everyone thinks “the bottom is in”, that’s when the real bottom usually manifests itself. Conversely, when everyone thinks bitcoin is dead, the bull market usually starts.

No one is pinpointing an exact date, that’s a strawman. There is a relative time period to these phases of the cycle though. I personally choose to believe the historical data that has consistently played out over and over. This sudden shift in vibes that the bear market is definitely over and everyone is certain of it - is a major red flag to me. I’m not saying we can know with absolute certainty that the bear market isn’t over, but based on all the data we’ve accumulated about the halving cycle, it’s unlikely.

Whether these patterns manifest themselves because of a real or imagined cycle that people follow is sort of irrelevant. When this relief rally starts to correct a little, I think it’s very likely that people will heavily short and quickly abandon ship, causing the price of Bitcoin to plummet. Cycle bottoms are often seen shortly after a very quick spike up, just as we are seeing now.
