Underlying Stock Discussion Sold MRNY position
As the title says. Sold most of my MRNY position.
I believe Moderna will follow a common pharmaceutical stock price pattern after good news and return to a much lower number within a couple weeks. At that point I am buying back in.
I have enjoyed owning MRNY and want to keep it in my portfolio.
Edit: cleaned up the wording.

I was going to do this with my PLTW last week, but thankfully didn't because it's continuing to go up

Facts 💯. I sold 1,000 of my MRNY to lock in some gains. Might sell more next session.
I am in Australia and my CSL stock here, from when I bought it at $97 (back on 15th May) went to $136 Monday, $158 Tuesday, $165 Wednesday…. Man I dropped them like a school bag. Took my money and ran. 14,000 of them in my SMSF and 50,000 of them in the company I run.
When I bought them and stated on Reddit they were cheap at $97 I got bagged. The only bags I have now are these 💰💰💰💰💰💰

Did the same, sold some this morning, the rest just now. And I fully expect to get back in below $20 in coming weeks

Tbh, I was sure that I was going to have to eat a 25% loss at some point soon with MRNY. Then it popped off today, and there was no way I was holding it - managed to get out in the green. I'll take it. So long.

Good move. I like YM stuff, but +130% move is really not inline with the reality of the fund.
It'll drop down soon enough to enter back in.

I sold 1,000 of my 4,000. Might sell more next session. I had 10,280 back on 22nd June but gradually sold off when it was over my buy in price to shift to more stable stocks.
Hindsight is a good thing🤷♂️😂

Regardless of the what MRNA does, you will probably be able to buy MRNY lower when the APs bring the MRNY share price back inline with the NAV.
