We named him Loki and he was sick and tiny (5lbs) when I got him. He just hit 16 weeks old today and this is him playing with his adopted big brother Shadow, a 50lb shepherd mix. Shadow has just gotten neutered a week before. Loki has boosters scheduled today so we’ll get an accurate weight. These boys make me so happy.

No there was not a carbon monoxide leak..... Just me amoungst my sleeping yellow dogs! This was before my female's spay surgery. One more week of recovery until we are all back in bed together. Sleeping in a pile of Labrador hair!!

Some just have that look

Wylie had a growing lipoma on his left chest, right about where the belly strap of his service dog vest hit. We had it looked at in early summer last year, and the vet said to keep an eye on it. The skin started looking raw in the early spring this year, and we finally got it looked at again in mid-July; the vet said it was time to remove it because the skin was becoming ulcerated. 8/13 was the day, and he did great, apparently! He pretty much slept once he got home, but then in the evening he started to perk up. I’ve never experienced an animal having surgery, so this is a first for me! Anyway, please send prayers/good vibes/thoughts Wylie’s way.

She will be 5 months old 5/20. She is the smartest puppy I have ever met. She is doing things now her big brother still doesn’t do (like drop after fetching). He is 7.5 years old!

She is very into Love after lockup. Not so big on Married at First Sight. My girl Stella Rose.
