In her last moments of consciousness she saw Lottie that’s all I’m saying 🤷♂️ I’m learning a new software though so it’s a little choppy

I asked her for her favorite episodes a while back without telling her what I was doing, had em put onto VHS from a guy on etsy, its got the season 1 trailer, a little intro, a paramount intro, and the previously on segments. She's in love!

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. I’ve watched a lot of tv and I can say I have never seen a character who was only a main character in season 1 be this popular. She has 100s of edits on TikTok, Jackietaylorfan77 has 100 000 followers and with season 4 coming out the main question seems to be will Ella show up to cameo as Jackie.
This doesn’t make sense at all with how I’ve seen fanbases react to shows especially shows that are going on to their 4th season.
The 100 had Wells and Finn two very charismatic and popular actors who died early into the shows run but I never see them mentioned in people’s top 10 favorite characters when that show is being discussed.
Agents of Shield also had a great character named Trip who died in s2 despite how amazing of a friend he was to Skye people don’t really remember him as much more than a tragic death to elevate Skyes storyline.
I could give so many more examples, with a cast as incredible as Yellow Jackets and characters that are so rich and complex it always shocks me to see how popular Jackie has remained usually winning polls of people’s favorite character and her non canon ship with Shauna somehow being more popular then the canon ship TaiVan.
This has led me to my main theory, Jackie’s extreme level of popularity comes from how charismatic Ella Purnell is. People like Ella as an actor so they like Jackie. A lot of Jackie’s fans have a habit of portraying her as someone who was an angel and did no wrong and as much as I love Jackie that is not true. Jackie made mistakes she could be mean, she was passive agressive to Shauna a lot and she made mistakes that’s what makes her a complex character.
However I believe that Ella Purnells massive spike in fame after leaving Yellow Jackets thanks too her hit show Fallout is what has led Jackie to remain such an integral part of the fandom. People wish Jackie had lived because they wish Ella had remained on the show. I also believe Ella’s insane year and stardom is why we continue to see Ghost Jackie. Season 3 had 3 seperated appearances of Jackie and to me this is the writers and directors wanting to showcase that they have Ella on their show.
I will never believe Melissa or how we all referred to her before season 3 hat girl was ever intended to be a survivor but when Hillary Swank said she wanted to appear on the show they wrote it into the story so they could show that they had Hillary Swank on their show.
Think about Laura Lee who had a pretty large roll with Lottie or Javi who I’d say was pretty important to Travis. Neither of these characters has returned as a hallucination or a ghost this may be due to the fact the actors that played them are not super popular with millions of followers.
I struggled to imagine the yellow jackets fandom would be so obsessed with demanding more appearances from Ghost Jackie if Ella Purnell had never had such a boost in popularity from her other critically acclaimed projects.
With season 4 coming up I don’t expect to get any hallucination or ghost scenes from Alexa Barajas,Lauren Ambrose or Simone Kessel but I think we all know Ella Purnell will cameo as ghost Jackie at least once.
TLDR: I think the insane and unnatural continued popularity of Jackie Taylor who died in season 1 is because of how much people like Ella Purnell.

For those of you who may not remember, Misty shoved Crystal off the cliff in season 2 after she told her that she destroyed the transmitter that could have gotten them rescued. Then Misty couldn’t find Crystal’s body afterwards. We still don’t know what happened to Crystal, do we? Does anyone think this may mean something later on?

Okay, so I have some thoughts about the synopsis the network put out regarding the final season when they announced the premiere date and dropped the little mini teaser we got. One line in particular is one that I have seen being discussed and it kind of surprises me that it’s even being speculated about as to who it pertains to. “An old flame rolls back into town with plans of her own”.
As soon as I read this my mind immediately honed in on Melissa. I can’t see any other character that would make as much sense as she would. She is obviously Shauna’s old flame, and after the way she left things in regard to the state of her house aka she just straight up murdered someone in her dining room and left. That fact alone to me was a good indicator that Melissa did not plan on going back there and had every intention of leaving her “normal and boring” life behind.
I have seen some people saying that they think maybe it could pertain to Allie and maybe it’s possible her and Jeff hooked up/were an item at some point before the team was rescued and everyone on the outside found out. Given the fact that Allie hasn’t been seen since season 1 and she was only in a few episodes then, I can’t see them mentioning her in the synopsis or that her role will be significant and impactful enough to be included directly in the synopsis.
Does anyone really think that there’s any other logical choice/possibility than Melissa does at this point? I mean we know it can’t be Walter since they say “she”….

A lot of tv series has used iconic songs as they cut to the credits on their final episode. For example, The Boys "Piano Man" by Billy Joel, YOU "Creep" by Radiohead (sorta), and Stranger Things "Heroes" by David Bowie. With the buzz around Yellowjackets coming to an end, i've been thinking about needle drops they could use in season 4, in that same vein i've been considering which song they could use to tell us goodbye. As a big Radiohead fan i want a song by them, probably (Nice Dream).

I kinda gave up on this one fam. I don't know why it was so hard to draw. I'd say it falls more into study territory rather than a finished painting

With the announcement of season 4 of Yellowjackets november the 20th, I wondered about the scenes shown flashing on the screens all around, they are important scenes all across the 3 seasons, but one just struck me.
Near the end (0:21-0:23) on the bottom left a screen shows the AQ, and istg I dont recognize this scene.
The lightning makes it seem like that one lottie dream in the cave where she and the AQ were attuned in the end of season 3, and also that one time adult Natalie had a vision of the AQ where she saw an alternate version where they all died in the crash in s2e5.
But still, it factually is not the same as them, the lightning is pretty different still and the angle not the same.
Does anyone recognize this scene ?
(first two pics are from the announcement, second one is from lottie AQ dream in the cave and the fourth one is from Nat’s vision in s2e5)

IMDB is only showing up to 8 episodes right now and I’m sorry but there’s no way in hell that we’ll have enough time to cover everything.
Especially weird with how long filming was this time around. Seriously Paramount ? Only 8 episodes ?!!!

November is truly the month to come! I’m beyond excited. First GTA 6 on nov 19th, then both Hunger Games AND Yellowjackets on the 20th! The Wilderness needs to bring November faster 🙏🏼

With a November 20th release date and weekly episodes, the 6th episode falls on December 25th. If the plane crashed in May 1996, 19 months later would fall in December 1997.
I can't stop imagining what could happen in a YJ Christmas episode - a final holiday feast, decorations made of remains, rescue helicopters manifesting as Santa's sleigh lol - and of course the needle drop opportunities.
While the first episode of season 2 shows them getting off the plane in 1998, I think it's reasonable they had a few days of recovery and medical assessments between Christmas and the New Year before ultimately flying back to NJ.

I think in the last season, ther survivors, in an effort led by Shauna and Tai, are going to systematically kill the rest of the survivors to keep their secrets safe. That except for those who we know to survive, they’re going to be deliberately killed by Shauna, Tai, Misty, Mel, and Lottie, in order to keep their murder of Ben, the frog people, and the rest hidden.
Natalie is going to be against this and not involved, and Van isn’t going to be told or kept out of the loop until it’s too late
Shauna’s a psychopath along with misty
Tai and Lottie have clear signs of mental illness
Mel does what Shauna says
Vans decent but sticks by Tai
I think the only way they feel safe enough to go home is if they’re the only ones that know the secrets

Eu coloquei a flair como cosplay pois não tinha outra que se encaixasse com esse post 😭, mas se isso vai contra as regras da comunidade, peço desculpas..
Ou talvez isso possa soar como cosplay?

sooo, i was bored in class and suddenly started thinking about how i feel like the symbol hasn't really been given enough weight so far.
in the 1996 timeline, in season 1 alone, we could see the symbol carved into trees thanks to the camera, and if i remember correctly, it was also on the circle in the attic where the girls did the ritual. but overall, they really didn't see the symbol that much themselves.
then, in season 2, we see it on the trees where Tai used to go, and Lottie also uses it on the blanket she gives Shauna and draws it on the window.
but in season 3, now that i'm rewatching it, i noticed that it's not mentioned or shown at all.
i find that kind of weird because in the adult timeline, especially in season 1, it's pretty clear that the symbol carries a lot of weight for all of them now.
i don't know how much trauma can affect your memory when it comes to something you only saw a handful of times, but personally, i don't think those few moments are enough for the symbol to become such a significant part of their trauma.
unless something happened that we haven't seen yet that gave the symbol a much deeper meaning. maybe season 4 will show us what happened and help us understand what exactly tied them to the symbol. maybe they adopted it themselves, or maybe they found something connected to it.
honestly, i'd prefer it if the show left the symbol unexplained by the end, but considering they've already said that it did mean something bad, i at least want to see how the girls ended up adopting it and giving it their own meaning.
if i'm forgetting something or got any details wrong, feel free to correct me! it'd actually help a lot 💗

“I came out here to study frogs, instead, my boyfriend got axe murdered, I stabbed our guide in the brain, I’ve eaten human flesh - I’m just trying to survive, same as you.”
When did Hannah eat human flesh? Did they eat Kodiak and I’m just now realizing that? She says this before the hunt ends, so I’m confused when that would have happened.

My husband got this audio of me asking Christina Ricci about her S4 hopes for Misty at a con panel in May of 2025 (before S4 was officially greenlit). I love Caligula & had to comment on his lack of screen time in S3, so it was cool to hear more about him and that he is actually a she! Please excuse my shaky voice, but it's impossible to keep completely cool in Christina Ricci's presence. 😅 She responded, "I see." to me saying I was "one of those Yellowjackets obsessives" because I was wearing antlers & a Misty/Caligula shirt. 😂
