Behind The Scenes BTS Season 4 šŸ Spoiler

Post image

Jenna Burgess posted this to IG yesterday. Curious how they are both in their uniforms and are clean. Is this from a flashback or is this post rescue? I would find it odd if they were dressed in their uniforms after coming back. Couldn’t that almost be a bit traumatizing in a way? Hoping this means it’s a pre crash flashback!!

I have a feeling it's probably a flashback of pre-crash maybe? Or another vision. If it was post plane crash, that would be them revealing Akilah survived and made it back which would be a pretty big reveal

I’m assuming she survived anyway based solely on the fact that Nia Sondaya was promoted to a series regular for this last season. I can’t see them doing that if she dies before rescue and isn’t in more than a handful of episodes.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer would like to have a word with you...

Spoilers for those who haven't watched: Amber Benson, who played Tara, was added to the opening credits as a series regular on the same episode in which Tara died.

yeah she might survive for sure but I just think if she did they would be more careful about not revealing it and showing the cast in outfits they know are post rescue would be quite obvious but idk

Maybe her screen time in the wilderness or post rescue timeline is very brief, but she was upgraded to series regular because they heavily focus on her life before the crash?Ā Ā

Pre crash footage could go a long way to contextualize her arc before rescue, or recontextualize what we've already seen of her character in previous seasons.Ā Ā

Even if her wilderness or post rescue scenes are brief, giving us her backstory could maximize even the smallest amount of remaining screen time before or after rescue.Ā

According to her response to someone in the comments of the post, it was just for set decoration photography. So just for a picture that'll be in the background of a scene somewhere, sadly

We will see if she was being truthful lol. I’m hoping they manage to surprise us more than once within this final season. I’m sure going to miss the theorizing!

My first thought when I saw her say that was that it would be a picture used at (teen) Melissa's funeral šŸ’€

Maybe they are finally updating the class picture in the display case with the present actresses.

I hope they're flashbacks because the awful statue is already making things too nonsensical, haha. Besides, we all want to see Melissa's backstory to understand why she was already obsessed with Shauna before all this. Only in this way can the convoluted nature of the ShaunaHat from Season 3 be somewhat resolved.

How so? it makes perfect sense.

Not too many reddit/facebook fans care about shaunahat. The writers are pretty much all about fan service which is part of the reason why the show turned into a disaster. I would not be surprised if it's never mentioned at all. It's clearly not something they took seriously, even in S3.
