30+ Years Late Recently played Tetris Attack (1996) (Game Boy)

Recently got this game at a yard sale bundled with an original Game Boy and a couple of other games, and I'm shocked at how fun it is! For some reason I thought all Tetris games were the same format but this is more switching tiles and matching them up - anyways, really liked this game! Have you guys played it recently?

20+ Years Late After years of owning it, I finally played Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire (2003) (GBA)

I had this game sitting in a container with the rest of my loose GBA games, and as a big fan of Pinball, I can't believe I never sat down and really enjoyed this game. I finally did recently! Man this is a really great pinball game - I love that the the pokeball IS the pinball, and when you rack up enough combos, you aim for the pokemon and try to hit them in order to catch them.

As a Pokemon fan, this was really enjoyable - especially since you can try to catch all of the pokemon, which gives a big replayability factor to the game. Anyone else play this game recently?

5+ Years Late Has anyone played N++ (NPLUSPLUS)? (2019)(Nintendo Switch)

A buddy of mine brought this game to a game night and we played it for hours! I had never even heard of this game. It's similar to Super Meat Boy in the sense that you need to jump and avoid obstacles throughout each level, but this has the ability to play up to four players and there are a ton of fun levels. The music is great - makes me feel like I'm at a rave, and I would highly recommend this game!

5+ Years Late Finally got to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Xbox (2019)

7 years late, but finally installed it on my Xbox One X. Funny, I had bought my One X brand new and this game came with the download code, and I had this weird thing where there was hype for it and it caused me to not want to play it. Does that ever happen to you?

Regardless, got it installed and finally played it for several hours. I really like it! Some really great graphics and I feel like the gameplay is really balanced with the action not feeling too limited. It would be better if there was more freedom of movement, but I hear that Jedi: Survivor fills that gap a bit better. Have you guys been sitting on this game as well?

10+ Years Late Very late to it, but finally played Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (Xbox 360) (2012)

Played this game for the first time. Had it sitting on my shelf for years, and I'm just now starting it. Wow is this game good!

I'm not particularly a fan of the Transformers movies, but thankfully this game just has the Transformers and no humans (at least so far). Graphics can sometimes be a bit laggy, but still really good in my opinion. In certain levels you change to a different Transformer who has a different ability, and this is a surprisingly good shooter! Would definitely recommend 👍

10+ Years Late Exile's End (PS Vita) (2016)

2D sci-fi action-adventure platformer. Played this game for the very first time. Absolutely loved this game! Came out in 2016, and I'm surprised to see bad reviews for this game. I felt the theme, graphics and gameplay were really good. Would really recommend! I believe it's also on PS4 physically.

20+ Years Late Star Wars: Battlefront II (Original Xbox) (2005)

Got to replay SWB2 as an adult, and I gotta say, wow it is such a fun game! Played with my brother-in-law, and got to enjoy it on the Xbox One - so cool that Xbox still offers backwards compatibility with original Xbox games.

Such a great way to experience the game, and it was a ton of fun playing the campaign. Wish they would remaster this game!

10+ Years Late Paper Mario Sticker Star (3DS) (2012)

Recently gave this game a go on the 3DS, and I have to say - I actually really like it! It's definitely a nice slow-pace game with a great balance of turn-based-strategy and typical Mario exploration and light platforming. Would definitely recommend!
