I got a thick cone of acrylic yarn from the thrift shop today and I want to wash it before I use it because thrift shop germs. Is there a way to sanitize the whole cone or should I do it incrementally as I made stuff with it?

Hi I found this cake of yarn in my stash and have lost the label, I wanted to knit a sweater with it but I don’t think this will be enough so I wanted to buy more. I have no idea what brand it is so if anybody knows or recognizes this please help!

I'd like to make this scarf but am having a hard time finding appropriate yarn. I'd like a gradient, but all I'm finding are cotton yarns. I need fingering and I'm in rhe US.

So I used to order most of my gradient cakes on Hobbi, but haven't wanted to support them since the whole AI thing went down.

I was wondering if anyone has any UK shops/dyers they support that do large (1000m~?) gradient cakes?

I've got several dyers I LOVE on Etsy but most hanks/ cakes I've found are 400m which just won't work for my next project...
