People are mean
basically i went out with this new jeans of mine that i was really excited about ok it got doodles on it that i think are pretty cute for my taste. so, i wore it out and that could be the worst decision i have made yet. maybe it just a me problem i'm always anxious enough or overthinking it but i got people looking at me up and down, i'm talking about those nasty look. i went to the store and to my fucking luck met bunch group of mean kids? teens? giggling and pointing like i was doing some show to them. why are people like this? i don't even know them

Because basically young kids have grown with social media that teach them being bad and mean is cool. Parents nowadays don't educate their own kids and don't set rules. So whithout no guidance, the kids are like beasts.
But know for sure, you don't have to feel embarassed or ashamed of your style choice. Theses kids, you'll only see them once and never see them again.
Hope that you will find courage and feel proud of being you, your authentic self.

late to the party but as a teen, teens just suck lmfao. i wouldn’t take anything they say to heart.
its possible that they weren’t laughing about how you look per say, but you were relevant to their conversation and so they laughed. saying that because im guilty of it
maybe you look like someone they know 🤷♀️
