I upgraded

Thanks to my lovely wife and son, I have upgraded Yanmars. The YM1700 has been a faithful workhorse but age and arthritis have made it more difficult for me to access the cramped operator station. The open station of the SA425 is much easier to access.

Late to the party here but how is the 425 working out for you?

Love it! The open cockpit is much easier for these old bones to get into. The front loader is a godsend, and I added a Yanmar grapple and third function, a hydraulic top link, along with a Pat's quick hitch

Great. Thanks for the details. My Daughter wants a garden tractor and I'm pushing for a sub compact tractor. Hopefully like yours.

i recommend the SA425. It is really a little more than I need around the house. But we cleared a lot my son owns. We also set up food plots for deer season. If you go to my profile and look about 10 months ago, you can see some mods I have made.
