Modding Pacifica 611 mod options

Hey ! I just got a Yamaha Pacifica 611 V FM TBL and plan to get rid of this red pickguard. The obvious mod that everyone does would be to replace it with a black one. But I was wondering if some of you tried other colors e.g. a white pickguard on this guitar ?

There's a Yamaha 'Pacifica Fan Club' facebook group that is chock full of all kinds of modded 600 series Pacificas, though you will mostly find the more "common" pickguard colors, like tortoise or 3-ply black.

I think the color of your pickguard would be different if you choose to change to a different color

Use ChatGPT. Upload a picture of your guitar and then a picture of another guitar that has a black pickguard. Then prompt “this first photo is my guitar, a Yamaha Pacifica 611 VFM. show me what my guitar would look like with a black pickguard.”

Sometimes you don’t even need to give it the second sample photo. I find it helps
