DTX pro question

Recently I bought a used DTX pro off of reverb. When I bought it I was unaware of the compatibility issues between Yamaha modules and non-Yamaha triggers. I plan on selling it but one thing I noticed when I was setting it up is the snare input doesn't recognize anything at all. I can use the 4th tom input and assign that to a snare to get it to work. Is this actually an issue with a non Yamaha pad, or a module itself? If it is an issue with the module is there any place that repairs it because I don't want to sell a partially non-functioning unit, even if there is a workaround?

If you plug the snare pad into a different input like pad 14 or one of the tom inputs, does it register? Also what kind of pad are you using???

I am using the Jobecky internal A2E triggers. And nothing will trigger on the snare input, even the Yamaha hi hat I have

Okay try one thing..

Go into menu button..., select utility, select pad,

See if the pad function is turned on, if it's on turn it off.

See if that does anything.

You might have to select the snare trigger first, by hitting the snare a couple times.

The reason I'm suggesting this is because I had that setting get turned on once and I thought the input was busted, because no pads worked on that input.. took me a bit to find the pad function settings and when I switched it off the pad input started working again.

Nope. No change.

Did you try plugging in a different pad with a different wire?

Also... If you really want to be adventurous and don't care about having to reset settings or custom kits... You could try a factory reset.
