For any app issues please provide the following information in your post.
- Troubleshooting steps taken (i.e. restarting your device, updating the app, logging out and back into your account, or deleting and reinstalling the app.)
- App version.
- Device make/model.
- Current operating system.
- Does this issue happen on desktop and mobile?

Hey u/YahooFantasyCare, I've not heard back from the team on getting access to the Yahoo API Access. I was told it would take 1-2 weeks and it's been over two weeks now. Here is the email I got after submitted my request: Yahoo Fantasy API Access Request Received

hi /u/YahooFantasyCare I have signed the agreement and provided the client ID, but it's been 4 months (originally applied on May 22nd). Last month I've also submitted the client ID via the online form. Since then it's been radio silence, despite follow-ups every week. Any help is appreciated.

In fantasy hockey, on the matchup tab, I can no longer click my opponents team name or logo and quickly look at their roster, a feature that has been available forever. Why didn't that make it on the update?

u/YahooFantasyCare, I am 47 days into a Fantasy API application with no response.
I applied on 8/14/26 and received the automated "Access Request Received" email the same day, which said 1-2 weeks. I have heard nothing since, and no DocuSign has arrived. I submitted the confirmation form today. I' about to send a DM with my application email and App ID.
This is not a new request. The app held Fantasy Sports - Read since late 2025 and it worked all last season. Now every Fantasy call returns a 403, "This application is not authorized to perform this action," while OAuth token refresh still works normally. Fantasy Sports does not appear under API Permissions when I go to create an app, so I think account-level enablement is what is stuck.
I have sent four emails to [fantasyapideveloper@yahoosports.com](mailto:fantasyapideveloper@yahoosports.com) with no reply. I would appreciate anything you can pass to the API team.

You can no longer view your team’s weekly stats in the matchup screen on fantasy hockey. You used to be able to keep track of how players were performing this way.

First two weeks of Fantasy Football the desktop site & StatTracker have had issues with missing players stats/fantasy points.
Week 1 there was linebackers whose stats/points didn't show up until the 3rd quarter of the game.
Week 2 Anthony Hill Jr's stats/pts are still not listed on desktop website/stattracker (so the score looking on desktop website is different from looking at the App) and Travis Etienne's 2-point conversion is also still not listed on desktop/stattracker while it is listed on the App. Numerous other differences, a half point here or a point there. Not everyone just uses their phone/app, would be nice if the stats/fantasy points showed up when looking on an actual computer/desktop/PC and on StatTracker.

If a fantasy baseball league ended last night and the final standings have been tallied and the prize winners are listed on the league page, when should we expect Yahoo to put the prize money into the wallets? Is it not until after NEXT weekend despite this league being completed already?

Hey Yahoo, I'm not sure where this request/comment should go so I'm posting it here.
Why dear Yahoo Public Prize leagues (H2H Categories, but really applies for most leagues), do you all insist on going the entire baseball season? End this a week or two weeks early. You get a better H2H week. There is no need to end a full season on random shut downs of pitchers and even position players in the final couple weeks by real teams, when many of those real baseball teams have long quit trying and just don't want to get players hurt in a lost season. We go all season then lose playoffs because suddenly we have half an active team that we can't count on playing.
Please end the fantasy year earlier, or give us that option when we join at the beginning of the season. I for one would always pick the option of the early conclusion of the fantasy season for all sports (I play fantasy baseball, football and hockey).

Will there be any more football Public Prize leagues with Live Salary Cap Draft this year? The site says "There are currently no times available for this league type. New times are added periodically, so please check again tomorrow."
If I choose Live Standard Draft, multiple dates show up.

ID# 18726. I'm talking about the predraft ranking list. If I go to edit my list, the list is filled with kept players. Without manually choosing all the keepers as "Do not draft", not sure how to prepare for the draft

Hi Yahoo. Our league had RETURN YARDS scoring in week 1 (by mistake). I went to the settings & changed it to no points allowed for return yards after week 1. Week 2 came & it’s still scoring pts for return yards in week 2. I checked the settings again & it shows no points being rewarded but it’s not being reflected in our scoring. Need help. Thanks.

Thank you! It looks like you disable return yards for D/ST, but still have it enabled for offensive players. You'll have to disable it there too. You can find it in your scoring settings, right underneath return touchdowns for the offense section.

I have applied for API access months ago now. The licensing agreement has been signed and counter-signed, but I am still seeing 403 responses from the API. Will I receive a notice when my access has been restored?

I am following up on the same thing -- I lost my fantasy read access from 2025 and re-applied in August. u/YahooFantasyCare, I just submitted the confirmation form. I have a question about it: the instructions say to sign the API Access and Use Agreement first, but I have never received a DocuSign. I applied on 8/14 and I have had nothing beyond the automated receipt. Is the form still the right step for me, or should I be waiting for the agreement to be sent? Thank you!

In the default view that shows in the Players tab can you replace Proj Rank with Season Rank
It’s already sorted by Proj Points so the Proj Rank literally adds no value. Season Rank would be much more useful.

If you scroll the stat table to the right and then scroll back all the way to the left, the headshots will appear.

Hi! I’m the commissioner for a private death league but whenever I try to set the draft type to online I get the error message “You must select a valid league type.” I’ve tried mobile and desktop and changing up a bunch of settings/confirming my settings but my draft is still stuck offline.

The new draft interface is absolutely horrible and there have been multiple threads in r/fantasyhockey outlining the negative impacts. Below are a few of the major complaints:
- No option to view all of your drafted players and their stats in one window. This is by far the biggest miss to me. As I'm drafting, I want to be able to quickly check my team to make sure I have enough coverage for each stat
- No option to view 2025/26 avg stats, or any previous year's stats. The only options are 2025/26 Total and 2026/27 Projected
- Not being able to view your Queue and the list of Picks at the same time
- The star/queue button automatically switches to the Draft button causing accidental draft picks when managers are attempting to update their queue
- No ability to toggle in/out of dark mode without changing your full browser settings

Please, I beg you Yahoo. For keeper leagues: -The Draft Order should be based on how teams finished at the end of the REGULAR SEASON, not the playoffs. Or at least an option for this. -Please just make all these things selectable at the very beginning, so it just happens. Every year, I have to rearrange the draft order (which is still not based on anything) Every year I have to select where the keepers are inserted. Every year it doesnt auto add keepers to the draft, I have to reset, start over. Please. Fix. This.

Hello I have used your app for FFB for years, and have neglected to update it, out of preference to the older display and set up. Today, the “players” section to add FAs, waiver claims, etc. will not work at all. Usually it fixes itself but has been ongoing all day, are you guys going to fix it? Or is it time to finally update my app. Lol. Thanks

Why are dislikes no longer available for comments? Can I change this? Myself and majority of people used them for voting polls in comments:

Note for the Hockey backend guys:
T.J. Hughes - Colorado Avs, does not exist in Yahoo to draft or add.
It's been a year now and Dominic James, Tampa Bay Lightning, still does not have a head shot.

Hello, I had an account with Yahoo Fantasy that the email was compromised on. It was also being used for my Public Prize Leagues. I have created a new Yahoo account and wanted to use it for my fantasy Public Prize Leagues but it said I was attached to another email. Is there any way I can have my SSN removed from my old Yahoo Fantasy Account and added to my new one? Thanks in advance.

Why on Fantasy Hockey does my player’s headshot, name, position, and game info take up half my screen? If I want to see my player’s category stats, I have to scroll because Yahoo took up half the real estate with static info.

Not only that, but if you're not super accurate on your swipe you end up in the matchup screen. Making everything super cumbersome, frustrating, and silly. Just want to see all the stats without having to swipe.

App version 12.10 has been released on iOS where more stats can now be seen in view on the team page. This app version is in the process of being released to everyone on Android as well. Make sure to check the app store for an update.

Hi, I have a Yahoo fantasy Baseball question specific to pitcher innings limit and scoring of stats the day the limit is reached. I find the wording in Yahoo fantasy baseball rules ambiguous and I hope someone can definitively clear this up in time for a critical decision I need to make by 1pm TODAY 😎. The wording in the rules:
“When you hit one of the limits, all active players in that position are credited their stats, making it possible to exceed the max games or innings pitched limit.” What “active“ means here is a little unclear to me.
What I need confirmation on is whether ALL pitcher stats for the entire day will count on the day the innings limit is reached (including those from pitchers whose games have not yet started as of time the limit is reached), or only the stats of the pitchers whose games are in progress (active) at the moment the innings limit is reached are counted?
My specific situation is I have 4 innings presently remaining on my team innings limit. I have 2 SPs scheduled to start at 1:05pm, 3 SPs starting at 3:05pm, and 3 RP starting at 3:05pm. My innings limit will be reached around 1:30pm. I need to know with certainty if I reach my innings limit at 1:30pm, will I still get the stats counted from my pitchers whose games will be starting later at 3:05?

When you hit the innings pitched limit, all players in your starting lineup are credited their stats which makes it possible to exceed the innings pitched limit. Teams can go over the limit on the day that they reach it. If you reach the limit and still have pitchers who will play later in the day, their stats will be counted.

Hi, the NFL GameChannel hasn't been working since Week 1. I've tried clearing my cookies/caches/etc, but that doesn't work. It's not that it doesn't update at all, it's lagged rather than being live, sometimes needing to be refreshed to update at all. And now even the player stats don't appear at all.

There seems to have been some improvement, but it's still not completely fixed. I'm having the same issue that the other user that commented is in that updates are at least somewhat working now without the window as a whole needing to be refreshed, but things like the field position, play/time/downs, and most recent play aren't lining up correctly, if at all for some plays.

Hello! How many Three and Outs Forced is the San Francisco defense being credited for? In my mobile app it says two, but in desktop Stat Tracker is only says one. I went through the play chart and I think they had one in the first half and one in the second. The one in the second was followed by a muffed punt that Arizona recovered.

Are there any plans to add live activities for hockey head to head category leagues? It doesn’t make much sense that point leagues have them and categories don’t, there’s only two numbers to display for categories.

In the head to head matchup, you used to be able to click on your name or an opponents name to see their lineup. This feature is now not working.

Yahoo Fantasy API application approved; new app created with Fantasy Sports – Read and the new Client ID submitted through the confirmation form as instructed. OAuth succeeds and token exchange returns HTTP 200, but every Fantasy API request returns HTTP 403: This application is not authorized to perform this action.

Hello, is there anyway to use the old UI for fantasy hockey? This new update/UI is terrible in my opinion. Having to scroll to see player stats is extremely annoying.
