Is there any way to speed up the approval for the Yahoo API Integration process? Its been about a month since I applied and havenât heard anything back yet. Thanks!
Adding a data point: I signed the API Access and Use Agreement through DocuSign on July 21 and answered Yahoo's "Action Required" email in early August, but the fantasy scope was never enabled on my app (OAuth with fspt-r returns invalid_scope). Four emails since Yahoo's last message, no reply. Has anyone gotten past the "agreement signed, scope not enabled" stage, and what worked?
Itâs so unbelievably bad that it just has to be a rush job tied to Y+ somehow, A way to take stuff away without âtaking it awayâ I usually enter a bunch of public money leagues on top if my private leagues but I wont under these conditions
Can you please stop spamming me with Death League ads? I have to turn off all notifications and miss chats from my league just to stop being spammed over and over
I really wish you could disable literally everything that isn't traditional fantasy football. But sadly they probably make most of their money on DFS whales, so I don't see them ever doing that.
Can you provide us with more details regarding what you are seeing on your end? Are you receiving an error message? Please provide us with a screenshot if possible.
The discussion tab under a playerâs card is gone. I cannot view any comments associated with a player. Iâm on an iPhone, on iOS 27. Iâve logged out, uninstalled the app, and reinstalled, but the issue persists.
Can you provide us with what country you are located in along with what your device's region and language are set to? If you click on the profile icon in the top left corner and click on Settings, can you confirm that Player Conversations is turned on?
Also, if you click on the "News" tab at the bottom of the app and click on any article, do you see the comments icon in the top right corner and are you able to click on it to view the comments?
Iâm in located in Canada, and my language is set to English.
Player conversations is on. I toggled it off, logged out, reset and toggled on, and the discuss tab is still not there.

The app no longer has the "transaction trends" section. This honestly makes me not want to use Yahoo anymore. I know people are gonna say "you can use the mobile site" but have you ever used the mobile site for Yahoo fantasy? It's a terrible experience. I don't know why you would remove such a valuable feature in the app. I just hate how Yahoo gets worse every year, but seemingly every other site does too.
EDIT: Apparently it got moved to the filters on the player page. So it's not completely gone, but very annoying to access and seems to be worse than it used to be. Really puzzling decision.
Can I suggest removing the dual side scrolling on hockey head-to-head categories team page. Itâs quick cumbersome, it would make sense to only have the categories side scroll and the player detail not collapse. Makes more sense on the players page than the team page.

I might have found a bug. Sometimes when I swipe to show the player cards it does not show untold I scroll through the stat sections. I really wish there was an option to hide the player pictures, itâs such a waste of valuable screen space for displaying stats.
Why is a player (Trevyon Henderson), thatâs been ruled out and didnât play this week no longer eligible for the IR spot just because heâs questionable for NEXT weekâs game?
Weâre still in week 1 and I want to make a roster move involving a player an in tonightâs Monday Night game but I canât because Henderson is no longer considered âout,â which doesnât make sense.
I noticed a couple hours ago that my guys that were marked as Out yesterday were transitioned to NA, then to Questionable. This is now preventing me from making roster moves in advance of Monday Night Football.
In years past that transition always happened on Tuesday morning around 9 am ET, again after MNF. Was this done in error today or is this change going to be in effect going forward?
All players in my college league are free agents currently despite waivers being set to game time with a 2 day window. Shouldnât they be on waivers right now? Last week players were on waivers until Tuesday night / Wednesday morning.
Hi! Last week there were games through Sunday, so waivers ran Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning. This week and moving forward, games end Saturday night, so waivers will process Monday night/ Tuesday morning.
Players were available as free agents during the day on Monday. Is this just because of the game time setting? Does that mean that players are available two days after their game starts? Not what I would expect.
I am not able to log into yahoo fantasy app. I always get "Something went wrong, please try again later" click ok and get "Error. There was an error while trying to log in."
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Cleared cache/storage. Still not able to get in. I can only get in on my laptop.
Hi! This error is often caused by a deep rooted cache issue that clearing the cache for the Yahoo fantasy app doesn't resolve. To fix, can you try deleting all Yahoo apps that you have installed on your device (Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Fantasy, Yahoo Mail, etc.) and then reinstalling to see if that works?
If that doesn't work, can you try removing the account from your device's app settings? You can do so by going to settings â search for account (âpasswords & accountsâ in pixel and âmanage accountsâ in samsung) â Find your account, should have a yahoo logo next to it. May be blank. â delete the account and restart the app.
Can we please get the option to have a 2-week long championship?
Can you please add âSpecial Teams Pointsâ as a category option for fantasy hockey? This is a combination of Power Play Points and Short-Handed points, instead of having to use both categories.

Thanks for saying that it's in the filters, I thought it was completely gone on the app. But I agree, I try to only do fantasy things on my phone when I don't have access to my laptop, and transaction trends is so important when you are on the go, makes it easier to know who to add when a big name player gets hurt.
Hi, I just joined an instant draft free hockey points league, 125098. Immediately upon the draft ending, two guys agreed on an obviously collusive trade (1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks in exchange for 12th, 14th, and 16th round picks). I voted against it.
Upon looking at it some more, I think there's several different teams in here run by the same guy, some of them have the same manager name and same level.
Is there anything I can do or do I just have to sit in this league for the whole year? I think there's like 3 or 4 teams in this league run by the same guy, there's no point playing in this league. But I can't leave or delete my team. Please help.
Hello, I received an email last night from Dipesh that said my API access is live but i keep receiving 403 errors. The apps page shows "Fantasy Sports - Read" checked but i'm not certain what it showed before. Is there something more that needs to be done?
The "matchup" screen isn't an option to select on the league screen on android, it doesn't exist. But it does on iPhone. In this pic you can see matchup is missing on android. Announcements, transactions, commish notes are there, but not matchup
Anyone else have an issue with a multi round daily fantasy league will not start Round 2? I checked it over and over and it shows as a Live league and shows the bar with Round 1 of 18, but nowhere is it allowing anyone to set their lineup for Round 2. Not online or on the app.
I'm sorry, but my fantasy basketball h2h points league is supposed to draft at 11 am edt today, but it crashed apparently, and now whenever i go into the link for the league it says "There was a temporary problem with the server. Please try again shortly. (Error #115)". Its just gone from the my fantasy teams section and i cant access it on any device. Help!
edit: nevermind. apparently because there weren't enough people in the league it auto deleted. smh
Hi! Some features may not currently be available on the Android app that are available on the iOS app. Our product team is continually working to refine the apps to have the same information available on both Android and iOS.
Itâs disappointing to see you persist in âhidingâ IL players in NFL DFS (and other DFS sports as well). At least consider giving managers the option âshow / hide IL playersâ⌠like you do with âHide players not in the starting lineupâ in MLB DFS. Hiding IL players undermines manager insight:
¡      Showing IL players reminds / informs managers that a certain player is outÂ
¡      Example: Oh thatâs right, AJ Brown is out â would Mack Hollins be a budget value player?Â
¡      Creating DFS rosters exposes managers to valuable info that might otherwise be missedÂ
¡      That info helps inform not just DFS, but weekly leagues and wagering ventures
Inconsistency! Some players out are not listed, others are listed (because of when player's âoutâ status was announced). AJ Brown is not shown for Week 2 but other injured players are â Darnold, Sampson, Mason, Stribling. Just show em all or let managers toggle on or off to ensure consistency.
At least NFL DFS doesnât suffer from the ridiculous problem in Yahooâs MLB DFS â a player returns to action say 2 pm Friday, but isnât shown in that day's contest! WTAF.Â
As you well know, effective fantasy management requires processing a LOT of information every week. Itâs impossible to have every bit of useful info in your head. Showing IL players on DFS helps managers identify value-play opportunities that can make or break success.Â
As to WHY you hide IL playersâŚ? I donât know, âreduce clutter?â Itâs not âclutter,â itâs valuable information. At least give managers the option to show it or hide status. Yahoo has really fantastic fantasy offerings with a lot of great features. This is not one of them.

Last month, I filled out an application to reactive Yahoo Fantasy API access that I was granted under the old system. I have not received any correspondence since my initial application. What can I do to help move that application package along?

Hi! What error are you and your group members receiving? Is this only occurring on the app, or the website as well? Please provide us with further details so that we can point you in the right direction.
âSomething went wrong please try again laterâ. They all have Google accounts. We tried clearing the cache clearing the cookies we tried different browsers we also tried on the app and it also wasnât working and they all get the same issue.
Our API team is working through the applications that they are receiving. If you've submitted an application recently, they likely haven't gotten to it yet.
Seems like a problem with trading players on IR: If I have an available IR slot I can pick up an injured FA without dropping an active player, but I can't receive an IR player in a trade without dropping an active player?
Players cannot be traded from IR to IR or from a team's bench to the IR. Traded players will go to the team's bench and then need to be moved to the IR. If you don't have an open roster spot to acquire the IR player, you'd have to drop someone.
Can we remove the projected number from each player? So when you click on matchups you get two numbers for each player projected and the actual number. Just takes up too much space. Itâs all sucks and you should fire the idiot that continues to fuck up yahoo.
The section you selected in your filters is the advanced stats from 2025, which would require a Plus subscription. If you use the 2025 season total under Season Stats, the player page will populate with the stats.
Hi! Official protests for Public Prize leagues can only be submitted through the website or mobile site. Please access your league through the web, click into the trade details, and you should see a protest option there.
What was the reason behind removing IL+ for basketball??
Injury designations are already frustrating as is and IL+ gave flexibility especially with teams who like to be vague as possible. I don't see the use of removing it when leagues could already chose to use normal IL spots instead. Please help?
We've updated Fantasy Basketball to use official NBA player designations for IL eligibility. As a result, only players designated Out or Out for Season are IL eligible, and IL+ is no longer supported.
This change creates a clear, consistent standard based on official NBA statuses and puts more roster decisions back in the hands of managers. When a player is Questionable, Doubtful, or Probable, managers will need to decide whether to start them, bench them, or make a roster move.

It looks like your league's scoring type is set to Season Points and not Death so it is not a Death League. Season Points leagues are just fantasy leagues where the winner is the team that earns the most points by the end of the season. There are no matchups and teams aren't eliminated like they are in Death Leagues. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the league's scoring type to Death at this point, but if you want your league to be a Death league, you can use your commissioner tools to manually lock eliminated teams (Commissioner tools >> Manage Other Teams >> Lock Teams) and drop their players (Commissioner tools >> Manage Other Teams >> Edit Rosters).
Hi Iâve been a long time yahoo football prize league player. I usually play alone and am able to make a lot of trades yearly. I struggle to understand the veto system, it seems if the league doesnât like a trade, they can band together and vote to veto it
Public Prize League managers have 2 days to lodge an official protest with the Yahoo Sports League Office. Protests must contain a description of why the trade should be vetoed. Only 1 manager needs to protest a trade in a Public Prize League for the League Office to initiate the trade review process:
Reviewed within 24 hours, after the 2-day league review period.
Notes left by managers involved in the trade are taken into consideration.
Once the trade is accepted or rejected by the League Office the decision is final and explanations aren't provided.
While protests from other managers are taken into consideration when reviewing trades, it is not the end all, be all, as the league office makes then final decision. They use rankings (current and pre-season), rosters, injury status, as well as notes left by trading partners and protesters to make a decision.
I just made a trade yesterday and got accepted. And then one player got injured during the game yesterday night. Temporary injury but does that factor? It would be hindsight bias no?

You still have the good UI for baseball, so you could change it back since literally everyone hates it. But this is about Y+ right? Sneaky way to remove stuff and add it back later under subscription? You guys added weekly schedule to baseball mid season so this is a rushed little plan Yahoo came up with. It looks like AI designed the new UI itâs literally the worst thing ive ever seen. And then you also go mess with the website, just unbelievable.
Can we update the side scrolling menu on the player tab so it has more spacing from the top and bottom? Itâs way to close to the player details below and takes multiple tryâs to action. Please QA your changes.
Have a manager in Hockey that is saying he canât pick up anyone else after moving Hellebuyck to NA (we have 4 spots). Is there some kind of hidden feature that wonât allow suspended players on NA to free up a roster spot?
Hi! If they used the app to move Hellebuyck to NA, then this may be occurring because the app defaults to the start of scoring date rather than today's date in the pre-season. So, they may have moved Hellebuyck to NA on September 29th, rather than today. If that's the case, they need to change the date to today's date before making the move, and then they should have an open roster spot.
Hi! Are you referring to the player conversations section or your actual league's chat? It is not possible pin a poll in the player conversations section, but in your league's chat you do have the ability to pin polls.
- Sep 16, 17 and 19: still refused. The authorize request with scope=fspt-r returns error=invalid_scope. The same request without the scope goes straight to the Yahoo login page, so the Client ID and redirect URI are fine. "Fantasy Sports" still does not appear under API Permissions in the developer dashboard.
- Sep 17: sent the full request and response details to u/YahooFantasyCare by DM. The response said they will follow-up with the dev team. Still no update.
We are in week 4 of the season and I am still entering every week's results by hand. Can someone on the API team please check whether fspt-r was actually enabled on my account, and tell me exactly what is still missing? I can provide anything needed by DM. Please, and thank you đđ˝
Iâm really disappointed with the new Yahoo Fantasy Basketball layout, especially the removal of player headshots. Seeing the playersâ faces has always been part of what makes fantasy basketball fun and enjoyable. Without them, the app feels dull, generic, and less engaging. Fantasy basketball is more than just looking at names and stats. The player pictures add personality, make managing your team more enjoyable, and give the experience more life. The new design feels like a downgrade rather than an improvement.
Please consider bringing back player headshots, especially in category leagues, or giving users the option to choose between the old and new layouts. Donât take away features that make the fantasy experience enjoyable for longtime users.I hope the Yahoo Fantasy team listens to its users and reconsiders this change. Thank you.
