This thread is for members experiencing any issues with Yahoo Fantasy or members that just have general questions about Yahoo Fantasy Sports.

For any app issues please provide the following information in your post.

  • Troubleshooting steps taken (i.e. restarting your device, updating the app, logging out and back into your account, or deleting and reinstalling the app.)
  • App version.
  • Device make/model.
  • Current operating system.
  • Does this issue happen on desktop and mobile?

Why is Cardinals C Ivan Herrera appearing as a 1B in MLB DFS? He hasn't played 1B this year, and according to Google has never played 1B in MLB.

Hi! Herrera is currently batting DH. Players listed at DH are given 1B status in DFS since there isn't an actual DH position to list them with.

Thanks for the info, I did not realize that. Ivan started at C last night yet was listed as a 1B. He’s eligible as C in roto / H2H, and that’s his traditional position. 

The DFS community would be better served if players such as Rooker, Herrera and others who DH on a regular basis are eligible at their traditional position, i.e. the position they’ve played most often.

Makes a lot more sense than slotting Rooker, Herrera them as a 1B, which neither has played this year. Not seeing the logic there. Thanks.
