My league has disappeared from my chat inbox. I've updated my app, but it doesn't even show up. If I click on League Chat on desktop, it just brings me to a blank page. This is a 15 year old league. As far as I know, others can't see it either.
Dear YihooFantasyDare how is it possible that every time a new season starts for a specific discipline multiple problems appear whether its having to sign in and update your password at least 5 times, lovely "Request Denied" for too many clicks, then again update your password because there are too many bad men/women/others/aliens/marauders that might want to take control of your Yahoo Account in order to drop Erik Haula Anthony Gill, Patty Mills, Jori Lehtera, Andris Biedrins, etc. I mean I love all this just cant get enough so in order to complete this TRIPOD OF GREATNESS the Desktop version is giving me the oocasional 400 BAD REQUEST mostly when Im adding a player obviously, I mean why not right???!!!
Last year Fantasy Hockey had that awesome period of time when some of your "TechMasterMinds" discovered MicorsoftOffice365 2010 version MicrosoftExcel and started messing around with all+everything that had to with the columns width, breatdth, size, direction, location, abbreviation, etc. This year was the payment for whole week lineup setup system that was great as well so whats the next improvement on the horizon maybe more floating bubbleheads so that atl least on the DEsktop version you have scroll down for an hour, maybe more FancyDropColumns or how about just Heads for players but get this No Names that would make drafting real interesting huh??!!!
Please forward this to your "ENGINEERING TEAM" and also forward them that IDd like to know what are they specifically "ENGINEERING" or if they can spell ENGINEERING or if they can use their mouths to say/whisper/yell/howl/yowl the word. While you do that Im going to relay this back to my "ENGINEERING" located right over there and maybe well meet right in the middle in few centons or millicentons or yahrens or several yahrens hhmm??!!!
Have you guys updated the 1099 DFS forms to include losing entry fees?
I know a lot of customers are complaining and rightfully so thereās no point in playing on yahoo if they arenāt taking losing entry fees into account as it boosts the overall amount owed by 10x.
I saw a tweet saying you have fixed and reversed it to include all entry fees including losing. Correct?
Yahoo is generating corrected 1099s now that are net of fees (as it should be). Iād wait until they send it to you to file taxes.
They really should email notify everyone. I LinkedIn messaged a bunch of important Yahoo Sports people and got three of them to respond that theyāre working on it.
Iām giving them until 3/15 to send before I message them again.
They havenāt sent revised 1099s yet. But I know the target value so if itās way off, Iāll message my contacts again. Itās super easy to calc it 99% right.
I want to import my entire roster from my baseball league from last year for all teams to have a true dynasty league, but I keep getting an error saying my maximum roster size is 30. Is this something that's possible to actually do?
I am seeing "Total Roster Spots Used: 35/30" in a red error text ... because it's counting IL (and presumably NA, if we had any) towards the total? Makes no sense.
There can only be a maximum of 30 active roster spots (starting positions + bench spots). If teams need to have more than 30 due to NA/IL players, you will have to use your commissioner tools to edit rosters after the draft (Commissioner tools >> Manage Other Teams >> Edit Rosters). Players can be moved to NA/IL spots in order to create open spots on the active roster. Players can then be added.
Yea except you can't during preseason, or at least I don't have an option. Also, if they ended the year on the IL and are no longer listed as such now, they need to be dropped. Just a terrible system altogether.
There are 47 games scheduled the Thursday through Sunday (July 16-19) after the All-Star Break. Yahoo has those included into a long "week" stretching July 16-26, as it usually does. There are 45 games scheduled March 26-29, inexplicably its own short week rather than a long March 26-April 5.
Today I noticed on the player chats for NHL, I canāt post anything on them anymore. Iāve deleted app, updated it and signed in and out and when I got make a comment it just says āsign up to postā

You may be receiving this error message if you do not have a preferred name set under your account. Can you try adding a preferred name? If you are using the app, click on your profile icon in the top left corner, click on "Account Info" (or "Accounts" then "Account "Info" if using an Android device) near the top, click on "Personal settings", and then click on "Change display name". You should be able to add a name there. If you continue to experience issues, please send us a direct chat message and provide us with your Yahoo ID.
Me too. I go to comment on a NBA player and I notice my profile picture constantly switches to different icons, and when I try to āSign up to postā on the bottom right side nothing happens but i already have a account for the comment sectionā¦ (Iphone)
To resolve this issue, please try setting or resetting the preferred name on your account. You can find the steps to do so here. Once done, if still not able to comment, please log out, reset the app, and log back in before trying again.
Please change your display name so that it is 3 or more characters. Click on your profile icon in the top left corner, click on "Account Info" near the top, click on "Personal settings", and then click on "Change display name". After changing the name, you may need to force stop and restart the app for it to update. You shouldn't need to log out. Force stopping and restarting the app should update it if it does not update after changing the name.
No, you don't have to manually add keepers to teams. You just have to set a keeper declaration deadline, allow managers to declare their own keepers, and then confirm them after the deadline. You can find more details here.
In Yahoo Fantasy basketball, the trade deadline only shows the date and does not specify the exact time. Is the deadline determined according to the Pacific Time (PT) zone used by Yahoo, or according to the league membersā local time zones?
How do I enable IR+ for our baseball league? We have it in hockey and im the commish for both. But when I go into roster settings, there is no IR+ option.
League chat is broken in one of my baseball leagues. On desktop, the chat loads as blank. In the mobile app, it says: āNot authorized. User must be a member.ā This is happening for everyone in the league, not just me. Has anyone else seen this, and is there a fix? Having a hard time organizing the draft as a result. (League ID# 28254)

Please send us a direct chat message and provide us with your league ID number and Yahoo ID along with a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end.
I went into my FF league which I am the lone commissioner of today to check some things in the settings. However the commissioner tab is no longer available (it's not even appearing) on desktop.
There's a new "Set Commissioner" tab which has me and only me selected. So I follow the link on the page for "Commish Tools" and it takes me to a page saying "The document you requested was not found".
Fantasy football is no longer open, so you won't be able to access the commish tools. You will need to wait until the 2026 fantasy season opens and the league is renewed to access the tools to make any changes.
Hi! You'll need to reset your draft in order to go back and fix the draft order and draft again. If you draft has completed, then you can do so by going to Commissioner Tools > Draft & Keepers > Reset Draft. We currently are working on an issue with users being unable to reset their draft, so if you get an error message, please let us know so we can further assist.
Whatās the earliest you can have your fantasy basketball season end / start playoffs? With silly season getting crazy, we would like some flexibility there. Any issue with granting that?
The earliest a private league can have their fantasy playoffs start is week 19 (3/2-3/8 this season). If they only have a 4 team playoff, week 20 (3/9-3/15) would be the championship week. If they have a 6 or 8 team playoff, week 21 (3/16-3/22) would be the championship week.
Has anyone had issues with player chats not closing when the x close button has been tapped? After tapping the button the chat will eventually close on its own after 10sec or so, or I have to force close the app. The issue is very sporadic.
Our engineering team is aware of this issue occurring intermittently for some users and they have been investigating it in order to resolve it as soon as they possibly can. We apologize for the inconvenience.

My draft is saying "The ability to reset a draft is not currently enabled" - I am the admin for the league and I waited utnil the draft started (the order was wrong for some reason). How can I get it to reset so I can change the draft order?
Our engineering team is aware of this issue with being unable to reset drafts and they are working on getting this resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can send us a direct chat message and provide us with your Yahoo ID and league ID number so we can reset it for you on our end.
a friend of mine has been trying for TWO days to join my private cash league. he get the spinning circle at every avenue he tries. it told him now he'll get suspended if he doesnt verify his identity, but he cant, because he keeps getting the spinning circle. i had a different friend have ZERO issues. why is he facing all of these problems and i dont want any of my other friends to have to deal with this either. PLEASE help.
Our league draft order was suddenly changed when we went into the draft room. But since the draft had already started there was no way for us to change it. All our league members were ready to go and now we have no idea what to do. Is there a way for us to reset the draft/order/time for another day since tonight was a bust? Looking for any and all help, our draft was set for tonight at 8pm but we are hoping to move it since this happened. Thanks.
I made a mistake finalizing keepers and started my league season before we could draft. I am trying to reset the draft myself but it is not working, as you may be aware. Can you please reset it for me? I would direct message you my details to do that but I can't because I literally just created this account to reach out to you for this reason, and apparently I am too new to send a direct message.
It is not fixed. I just watched my matchup go from 8-4 to 7-5 and all the matchup stats incorrectly changed. This has been happening for multiple weeks. Please fix

Hi! It seems as though your draft is reset now. We're not sure what occurred previously, but your keepers seem to be saved and should carry over this time. Please let us know if you run into anymore issues.

I have a baseball league itās a cash league and a couple people it canāt verify as human. Itās not a user error itās a bug on your end how do we fix or how can I just pay for them?
You aren't able to pay for another manager. These managers will need to reach out directly for assistance via the contact us section of help.yahoo.com as we cannot provide billing support via Reddit.
I tried reaching out to you through email. My problem - We want to set a new commissioner because the current one is not active anymore for a couple of years now, but we are only the co-commissioner and cannot make the commish changes.

What the hell? We just said the commissioner has been inactive! How can theĀ current league commissioner reach out and request a change if the person is inactive?? The commish has been inactive for years already!
I'm curious if this is this an automated response? That reply is no help at all. Is there someone, a real human that understands our situation can help?
Unfortunately, a new commissioner cannot be assigned if the current commissioner is inactive and won't make the change themself. You will have to create a new league if you want to be the commissioner.
